Mafia Reunion - Day 10

Testing out a theory here - that no wolf voted to lynch another wolf. How would that play out? On Day 4, here are the unconfirmed players who did not vote to lynch Boozy:

Raventhief, Zeriel, Scathach, and Nanook.

On Day 9, here are the unconfirmed players who did not vote to lynch Bufftabby:

Biotop, hawkeyeop, and Nanook.

It would appear that the only unconfirmed player to never vote for a wolf is Nanook. We have two wolves, so at least one wolf voted for a member of his pack.

Who would that wolf be? Texcat was one of the last people to vote for both Boozy and Bufftabby. But like I mentioned before, Texcat is usually an early voter. On Days 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 she voted early and voted for a player without a bandwagon.

Her two late votes for the two wolves are outside the norm of her voting pattern.

Go raibh maith agat agus beannachtaí an lá leat.

Yinz need to stop trying to summon cthulu. Or do it quicker.

I also voted Boozy, and I’m unconfirmed.

Raventhief analysis:

Day 1
Points out bullets in color. Doesn’t think Colby slip. some talk of being inexperienced/bad at finding early scum. votes for Total Lost for pushing a “hard claim” Unvoted due to believing it was a misunderstanding. Votes for Lakai for pinging? Expresses disappointment with day’s outcome. Some Hitman discussion.

Day 2

Votes ToeJam for not being as prolific as he said he would be. Against elaborate switch plan. Unvotes Toejam when it looks like he might be modkilled. Questions why Lutha finding other Lutha is important. Lots of Cultist talk, Votes for Brewha for timeline and pm discrepancies. Unvotes late in the day, too late to make a difference, once there is clarification on pm constituency. Votes for Toejam.

Day 3
Questions about wizard’s death. Votes “Idle” for Meta reasons. Min Booz analysis and Idle madness. Strong scum leans on Hal Briston and Sach, weak ones on Nanook, Hockey Monkey.

Day 4
Against orchestrating 2nd lynch. Doesn’t think jumped on bandwagons. Feeling discouraged after Idle meltdown. Thinks SNF is playing differently. Some cult power speculation. Doesn’t want to go after the Cult members though.
Votes Diggit based on Paul’s analysis. Post count dropped drastically this day and remains about this level going forward.

Day 5
Compliments Sunny’s play. Want to focus on midrange posters. Thinks the color around the Seer might be significant. Doesn’t think Prof is scum so votes Khameleon for pinging.

Day 6
Puts together detailed notes that I have trouble parsing. Votes for Inner Stickler fand suspects he is either scum or cult. Vote based on inconsistent handling of cultists and friendliness towards them, vote record, lack of case building. Stays quiet for most of the remainder of the Day. Wonders why there aren’t more cultist claims. Night talk on Cookies, now confirmed SK.

Day 7

Complains about switches. Votes Cookies, Talk about Color and who killed whom. Speculated that there is a reason Cookies isn’t defending herself more.

Day 8
Out of town. Did not participate or vote.

Day 9
Asks Sinjin if Crys was protected. Voted Buff for pointed out late day vote activity regarding Booz/Diggit. Claims vanilla town. Thinks participants who have drifted away from active participation are likely vanilla town. (Zeriel, Plumpudding, Sinjin)

Day 10

Seems possible frustrated vanilla townie. Found Nanook’s harsh tone offputting. Thinks Texcat and Scathach have flown under the radar enough that forgot they were even playing.

All in all I lean town here. Raven’s theory of how vanilla townies would handle this game fit Raven’s behavior and I think it was based on personal experience. There were a couple of odd votes, like Day 4 when there was a me too vote right after claiming Raven’s claim of dislike of Bandwagons, but nothing too egregious. There also some behavior that I associate with scuminess like playing the newbie card and reacting strongly on behalf of town to EOD/N results, but the former went away quickly and the latter was consistent enough that it might just be player style.

That leaves Texcat and Johnny Bravo in the pool of Inner Stickler votes. I need to do more analysis on them, but I’m going to be gone for the rest of the day, so I’ll likely put a vote on one them tomorrow.

You are the current vote leader. Anything else you want to say before the end of the Day?

True, missed that.

Another week gone by.

I’m not with the Zeriel vote, today. Could be wrong, though. I beli**ve at least one scum is voting there.

I’m going with my gut, today.

Vote texcat

From here on out, I’ll go with what I’ve felt, since some of our scum out there seem to be good at hiding themselves amongst us.

Lucky me that a few of those I have been suspecting all are on the vanilla list.

I have the world’s worst hangover.

vote zeriel

I feel like he was only responding after being prodded which is is a typical guilt thing (i’m letting down my team).

Vote Zeriel

I’m happy with a Zeriel lynch. Reviewing the unknowns, I’m getting a town vibe from too many of them. But I am particularly concerned by these 2 Zeriel posts:

The first is from Day 1, in relation to the Colby ‘slip’:

He is happy to find it suspicious, but does not want to commit to a vote. This is curious, as early Day 1 votes don’t need a particularly high standard - is he going to find it more worthy later in the Day?
He does a similar thing on Day 2, happy to stoke the fire but not wanting to be burned:

I feel good about a lynch of either **Zeriel **or TexCat. I think they are both Scum.

I feel pretty good about a Texcat lynch. Something about her is pinging me.

**Vote Texcat. **

**Vote Texcat. **
[/QUOTE]

Of our two main contenders, definitely the one I’m more suspicious of.

I am off to work and will miss EOD and any shenanigans. I think it is likely that our two main candidates are not only both Scum, but are Scum on the same team. How else to explain that neither is voting for the other?

Unvote plum
Vote zeriel

Unavailable until tonight, making a self protect vote in case of last minute shenanigans.

Evening all.

I’m not doing very well Mafia hunting Today.

I have to admit that most of Today I’ve felt that Johnny Bravo was a potential Mafia suspect. The main reason is that, a couple of times Today, he’s been discussing Mafia data and talked about how there are two Mafiate votes unaccounted for.

There are three Mafia.

The second instance was in [post=20073095]D10.098[/post], in the penultimate bullet point. The first seems to have run away. I’ll post it if I find it.

Back in post [post=20073131]D10.100[/post]we see Johnny repeat a pattern of “I want to fimd a Mafiate” while placing a vote on someone he thinks has a good chance of being a Wolf. This is reminiscent of several of his anti-Cult votes, but has the advantage of being aimed at an alleged scumball.

One of the things that caught my eye was in [post=20066497]post D10.010[/post], where Johnny is arguing that he is not Mafia. He says, in closing: -

But he overlooks one thing.

Bufftabby was not the Alpha Wolf.

She may have been arguing for a Johnny kill for all 8 Nights she was alive, but if the Alpha Wolf wanted to kill someone else, that player would be the one killed. Consequently Johnny’s last point carries no weight.

That being said, the vote leaders are Zeriel 7 and TexCat 5. I have had a vague and unsubstantiated feeling that TexCat is scum most of the game, but I suspect thgat a large part of it is…

wait for it …

[spoiler]a grudge.

It goes back to her role as Ra’s Al Ghul the Serial Killer in Storyteller’s Arkham Revisited game I referred to a few times. Even though she helped us win.[/spoiler]

As for Zeriel, he seems under suspicion for low participation, so I’ll pass on a vote for him.

Vote Johnny Bravo.

I’ll be watching robots bashing each other to bits for the next while.

That’s a rough typo, I’ll admit. I don’t know if I just counted the red names in the deceased list and counted Hal twice or what.

I’m not sure about the rest of it though. I’ve been spending more time looking for wolves because we have more data for going after wolves. We’ve never lynched a Mafia so we don’t have voting records for those.

And yeah, bufftabby isn’t the alpha, but there are some questionable wolf kills. They knew for certain that Lightfoot wasn’t Mafia, but they killed her over somebody who at least one of them was apparently convinced I was the enemy? This is some occam’s Razor stuff.

Anyway, there are three kills and at least one reveal between now and when voting starts back up. You’re more or less king townie for now, so if you want to drive the train there’s not much I can do but keep making cases for after my reveal. We’ll see what happens come Dawn

Ok, is it now Night?

It is. I’ve been busy with my kid all afternoon. I can post the end of Day shortly though.
