Wow. That was not expected. So much for my thinking Sunny Daze was a cultist (since I was bread crumbing, I was assuming other cultists were too.) Sunny Daze had a post early on where she references Cthulhu for no apparent reason. I thought that was a breadcrumb.
But after Crys and I claimed, Sunny Daze looked less and less like a cultist, but I still held on hope that she was just distancing. Oh well. Or more accurately, Yay! Sunny Daze died and wasn’t a cultist! Ahem. I mean, Yay! Sunny Daze died and was scum.

And when I read the opening post I was thinking… that mochaccino guy.

@Sach, I know we’re at odds, but what thread was it in that Sunny referenced cthulu? I did a search of all forums for posts by Sunny Daze and keyword cthulu and it came back empty.

Are you saying that you were testing Lakai to see how she would react to your criticizing her case? Was my interjection interfering with your assessment of Lakai? Otherwise, I don’t agree. It isn’t the same thing.
It is also possible that I’m being hypocritical. That happens. I’ll try not to be, but it happens.

I don’t really see it as being ‘defensive’ as much as thinking further explanation was needed for others to understand the reasoning.
I don’t see how the time of Day was a relevant factor. I’m pretty sure I posted something to the effect that I would be back to check if my vote was needed to get a second lynch. I’m not 100% sure I posted it, but I was thinking it.

Look. I’m Third party. Maybe you haven’t thought much about what playing this game is like for Third party, but it’s different. As neither Town or Scum, there are unusual choices I need to make. I’m trying to have fun and make the game fun for me by looking for things and angles to participate in, but I absolutely do not want to have a strong effect on the vote trains of the Day. I know that sounds weird, but I feel it is the best thing for Town to keep myself away from influencing the vote record or swaying the lynch wagons one way or another. Why? Because I’m Third Party. My vote record isn’t going to tell you my alignment. I’m telling the truth, but if I wasn’t, I’m not going to get caught by my vote record. I would get caught in a lie with a dead First Deacon or cultist investigation. My vote as a matter of record isn’t important; but influencing the vote or wagons could be detrimental (probably not, but not worth it). The vote influences will hopefully tell you about players who aren’t me. So yeah, I’m staying out of it.

That’s why, when I saw an opening and a decent point of view on Biotop’s choices, I pursued that. You know, for fun.

And then I trounced all over your fun. I get it now.

(1) The entire thing is in BLUE (which is a color of an entirely different sort).

I’ve been suspicious of Prof P, and now Pleonast has pretty firmly pointed a finger in his direction. I was already planning to vote him again, but now doubly so.

Yeah, the more I look at Pleo’s vote records, the more like finger pointing it seems. The unvote and revote in the same post on two consecutive days…and not voting anywhere else…It’s like he’s screaming behind his keyboard at us for two Days.

I did note one difference reading the Google Doc that I haven’t seen anyone else point out yet: The Mafia seem to have all Night power roles, and the Werewolves all have Day power roles.

I’m not yet seeing a way to use this to our advantage, but I haven’t gone full analytic on this yet because work is eating my soul with rice.

Ok… I’ve got a tin foil hat theory bouncing around in my noggin… I’ve copied the posting rules from N0 because I had to check to see if what I am about to ask would violate any rules…

I didn’t join the game until D2… so I have no point of reference for when on N0 role PMs went out. I’m not attempting to “crack” the game by grouping when all the scum PMs went out. Is anyone willing to share the time of when they received their PM?

I’m cruising the N0 thread right now and I noticed that Prof was advocating LtL before anyone had said they received their role PMs. I still think Prof is scum, but his position on LtL is a nulltell.

There was some speculation that ** Dante G ** who was Mod killed at the beginning of D1 ( no sub) had a Town Power role. And that one of the players that got their roles late in the N0 cycle were possible receivers of said Town power role.
Time stamping the last late role PMs * could be considered role fishing *
