The phrase “specious suspicions” is the only worthwhile thing to come out of that post, but do your thing.
And I would like to see some proof (as in prior games) or vote for you for that assertion, but I will have to reserve my vote for a future date because
**The rules explicitly state no multivoting. Has that changed?
**
Otherwise, someone inform Pleonast he needs to change his vote.
Pleonast said in his post that he realized only the first one counted.
None of the rules have changed. Only one vote per player. You can post whatever you want. But unless you formally recind your original vote only your first vote counts.
Though I suspect this was a rhetorical device; I again find myself regretting that we promised to answer all questions in Green.
Hi, Angel! Hope things are going better for you!
Somewhere there is a 14-page list of the roles which I unfortunately didn’t link to, and can’t find. I printed 'em off though.
A Patsy is a Miller with the difference being that you “if thou art killed by Night or by Day, thou mayest make one reciprocal kill at thine own discretion”.
Or words to that effect.
Wishy-washy how? I’m not voting for Colby for just “The Slip” because by itself it means nothing. If he does something else to seem scummy, then “The Slip” might take on more meaning.

So, as I read on, I see that a Colby bandwagon has formed. I am the first to admit that my eye is still on him/her, however this post is actually a better candidate for suspicion. I find that a defense of another player is usually given whenever the culprit actually has superior information about the other player. So, I will

I’m not sure I was defending Colby, I was just not convinced The Slip is anything to vote for yet.

You want me/angel to dig up previous games where I wasn’t convinced of someone’s scummery? That’s every game.

And actually no, they only get to kill someone if they get lynched.
Welcome to the game; you are The Patsy.
ALIGNMENT: Town
YOU WIN if at any checkpoint (Dawn or Dusk) all 14 Scum players (Wolves + Mafia) are dead.BACKGROUND:
Hi, Clemenza! Welcome to town! Glad you left organized crime behind you!. Hope you enjoyed being in the game preview! This isn’t anyone’s favorite role to have gotten, but someone always needs to be the patsy. We do not apologize. And if you don’t recognize the Clemenza reference… shame on you. Shame. (Note from Doug: I see what you did there).POWERS:
Well, you investigate as Scum if either the Seer or Homicide Detective target you (the Investigative Journalist will always receive accurate results regarding you). However, if you are lynched (but NOT if you are killed by Day or Night), you may make one reciprocal kill at your own discretion.
That link was copied from this Night Zero **storyteller **post, wherein he also confirms that there is only one of every role except Masons and VT.
Like bufftabby, I think his post was likely a mistake. Pleonast quoted Chronos’s Night 0 post and Meeko might not have caught that it was from a different thread.
THIS or rather, I caught it, after the fact. That, and frankly, the discussion that my post in this context would have, is entirely and strictly Meta. I don’t really see any point in discussing it while a game is active, especially among the to be active participants.
Suffice to say, I don’t agree with Chronos and the notion that being confirmed town is next to useless. But again, this is a can of worms, and best left unopened during a game, if ever.
So yes, I saw it, but as it would only serve to fluff and hijack the thread further, I don’t see it as a priority to “return” to that topic (in any and every sense) presently.

I believe so. The name strike me as familiar. But I can’t recall a certain game. Why?

Because what you’re finding suspicious about him, I know to be part of his play style. But we’ve (he and I) played together a lot.
So I was trying to judge if your suspicions were forced or not. Under the circumstances of you not really remembering him, I don’t particularly think they are.

Thank you, Prof. Yes, things are better, and I’m happy to be back.

Yeah, I’m going to have to say I think this (defending people) is more of a town tell for you than a scum tell.
I’m still trying to parse in my head how much easier it is to play scum when there are two scum teams, though. (Which is to say I’m not completely convinced you’re town, yet, but I don’t see this as any reason to think you’re scum.)

This is pretty good reason to start a lynching mob. Who is in charge of handing out the pitch forks?
Vote: Colby11
I keep coming back to this on toDay’s reread #4. First, and only post, see’s a wagon forming, vote’s, then disappears. Very very lazy.
Unvote Boozahol Squid, P. I.

A millerbomb, if you will…
Ooh, that’s a cool role! I hope it’s not Biotop. (I say that with love, of course.)

Thank you!

Are you referring to me and BillMc here - or who do you have in mind?
It would be nice with names to later re-reads. Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Not paring this down to the relevant part because it’s a pain on my phone.
Can you explain to me how something can seem hurried and rehearsed at the same time? Because those almost seem like antonyms to me.

Theory v. Practice.
Or, How to make half baked scummy brownies.
Scum makes a slip.
Scum and scum mate discuss on scum board how to “cover” and otherwise correct the slip.
Rehearsing comes in the tossing of ideas back and forth on how to correct it, the creative writing… The theory.
Hurried comes in on the actual literal posting. The practice.
I’m sure this pattern has demonstrated itself before… That for what ever reason, scum think up a plan, and reality throws a curveball or two.

So, as I read on, I see that a Colby bandwagon has formed. I am the first to admit that my eye is still on him/her, however this post is actually a better candidate for suspicion. Why him, and not me or Normal Phase? We were both skeptical of the bandwagon.
