I’ll give you some details more than the previous poster
Obi-Wan fought Darth Maul again in Star Wars Rebels. Both were older and this time. Obi-Wan immediately killed Maul. I thought it was great because in Phantom Menace, they had an elaborate fight, but in the final fight, Obi-Wan does about three swings/parries and Maul dies immediately.
And Darth Maul is 100% dead at that point. (Just Maul by then, dropping Darth actually)
Confirmed that Boba Fett is not a Mandalorian. Jango was apparently a Foundling, though, and apparently got his armor the old fashioned way. The Way apparently allows inheritance of armor, parent to child, even if the child does not swear the Creed.
Boba was wandering the wilderness. It’s not clear he even realized that the Marshal had the armor until he saw it at the end of the episode. It’s also possible his personal code didn’t let him claim the armor from someone who was actively using it for fighting his battles, but when he saw Mando speeding away with it as a spare, he decided it was time to reclaim it.
In the previous episode, I thought the clear implication is that the Dark Troopers were still under development. I got the impression from this episode that this was their first field deployment. If regular storm troopers can accomplish the goal, no need to go with the experimental units - and no need to reveal their existence. The storm trooper cannon fodder were also an effective distraction, luring Mando, Boba, and The Sniper away from the Henge and the Child.
On the topic of the Dark Troopers: I thought they were setting them up as Force-sensitive cloned cyborgs, which would tie in with harvesting Grogu’s “high M-count” blood. But, these just seemed like pure droids, just like the video game. So, why does Moff Gideon want Grogu’s blood? What was with the tanks with the malformed bodies in the hidden Imperial base? Does he have two, completely unrelated wonder weapon projects underway simultaneously? While being on the run from the New Republic and with only a tiny remnant of the Empire’s resources?
Bobba Fett’s reveal that he got his own armor back was great. I know it should be obvious since he saw the open door to the Razor’s Crest, but I didn’t realize what he had done until 1 second before he showed up in in.
Could be. There’s been a lot of fan speculation that Snoke was a Palpatine clone.
Again, it just seems odd that this one random Moff, leading a small Imperial remnant, has both the Dark Trooper project and some other unrelated “M-count blood” project going on simultaneously, while dodging the New Republic, and possibly feuding with other Imperial remnant factions.
More educating the ignorant please. Siths. Vague recollection from the prequels about two at a time, a master and an apprentice. Palapine is the master right? And Maul had been the apprentice? So besides Palapine (aka Sidious?) is there now another Sith given Maul’s fall. My ignorance is deep!
The prequels established the “Rule of Two.” There is always one Sith Master and one Sith Apprentice. Various (now non-canon) EU projects have interpreted that rule…creatively. Even after the rule was introduced, there seemed to be a lot of other Sith running around.
Rebels, which is current-Disney-canon, had Imperial “inquisitors” who were Sith-style Dark Side Force wielders, so even they interpreted the “Rule of Two” pretty loosely.
In the timeframe of The Mandalorian, there are no Sith left, that we know of. Well, except that whole planet of Sith cultists/ghosts/whatever the hell they were we saw in Rise of Skywalker…
I know Darth Maul is supposed to be dead but with … Kennic(? Mulan?) and Boba both reappearing alive on Tattoine after we saw them both die on Tattoine… well, I’ll believe it if I see a skeleton. And that’s fine as long as it doesn’t go to ludicrous speed.
I assume only 2 episodes left this season. If he’s looking up Bill Burr and asking Cara for help, I expect we’ll see Carl Weathers and Timothy Olyphant again.
If he could find Ahsoka again she could take care of the whole ship full of baddies herself. (As seen in the last episode of The Clone Wars, you don’t want an angry Force user on a starship with you.)
That reminds me of a EU comic (which I haven’t actually read.) An alternate history “what if” where Paplatine defeats Luke, Yoda gets really pissed, comes out of hiding, takes control of the Death Star (1) and crashes it into Corusant.
Well, the title of the episode (the Tragedy) gave a pretty good hint of what was going to happen (well I guessed the part of Gorgu being captured, but not the Razorcrest going boom). It was also a short episode (31 min, The Jedi was 45).
Seems likely the somebody/s is going to respond to that blue beam, though not sure what they do if they go to Tython and no one is there.
Boba is more honorable than I would expect.
Another prison break? How hard is it to find a guy with ship tracking skills?
Maul and Vader are dead. Kylo Ren is still a very young Ben Solo, probably about the same age as Grogu in terms of development. I’m not sure what the exact status of Palpatine is. It gets messy when you’re dealing with clones .
Count Dooku apparently replaced Darth Maul. I think he went by Darth Tyranus, but no one calls him that in the movies much. It’s weird because he is older(Christopher Lee), but apparently was not the Sith apprentice until Darth Maul “died”. I guess before that…he was just around?
Lucas screwed everyone over by making that “only two there are” rule. It makes no sense and limits everything to two Sith at a time?
