Howdy Y’all! I managed to spiff da cave and make sup which has been et. Made the executive decision not to go out and about today as I just did not want to be amongst the public. Tomorrow, however, I shall be about and amongst the public. Well, over to the church house where not a public will be about other than the Parish Administrator and probably EYP. I have my list of tasks that need takin’ care of so I shall not feel lonely and in despair.
Ouch nut!
Yay butters!
swampy, I think I still have that sheet music from when I was a church organist with the musician’s union up north. I played mostly at liturgical type churches and much of the music was similar or the same.
I went to the retinapathist today. My eyes are doing well enough we are now going down to annual visits (a few years back, they were quarterly). I’m going to work on my cow-orker’s card between supper KP and folding the laundry.
Worked, stopped for a pint on the way home, took a nap. Off tomorrow. Doing laundry ,and getting new glasses.
CONGRATS!
[QUOTE=Buttercup Smith;21626907Doogiiooo no sheveling today?[/QUOTE]
I put on pants.
We bought our flowers for the front and the veggies for the garden this weekend, and though Mrs. White and I hale from the fair state of Merrylande, we’ve been exiled to way up state NY (just south of the Adirondacks) for the last 21 years…so, still frost concerns, nothing in the ground yet…but soon, thinking this weekend…
Soccer has been coached and dinner consumed, so all is right with the world, Internettin’ is now underway.
Translation: he [del]stole[/del] took the pint glasses home with him from the bar.
How did you wear them?
Walter, how far are you from Glens Falls? I should be up there in Sept.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 58 Amurrkin out and clear (almost daylight!) with a predicted high of 90 and N.O.S. for the day. Today I get to do laundry as well as take care of chores over to the church house. Twuck needs gas which is cheapest at Sam’s so I might even make a Sam’s run since I shall be over that way. Or not. There are no critical needs and I am loathed to go to Sam’s unless such needs exist. Since it is Tuesday, sup shall be tacos (OLÈ!) and fixin’s.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, alas, alack, and bother I suppose I must purtify and don appropriate goin’ about the public attire. Life is hard!
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
Holy crap, was there a pile of stuff on my desk!! Gonna be a bizzy day!!
Guess I should dive into it. Soon. dammit.
Happy Tuesday!!
Happy Toosday!
Bright and N.O.S. today, supposed to get up to 81.
The last two sleepless nights caught up with me this morning, I had a horrible time getting out of bed.
A bootiful sunny week in the PNW, but too early for 80s temps. I’m proud to announce that my grandson has graduated cum laude from Arizona State. None of my kids made it all the way through college, and he’s the first grandchild to do so. He overcame a lot to get there, including attention deficit disorder and a bad spate of bullying. Luckily for him, my daughter is a ferocious mother. It didn’t help that he was struggling with his sexual orientation and finally came out in his senior year of high school.
Blurfage Forgot my phone at home today and feel nekkid without it. Irk, as usual.
Blurf
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Gonna go to watch hockey practice before laundry.
well, if they would wash them, they wouldn’t stick to my hands when I leave.:p;)
B. A would be overalls.
Morning all. Need to forage here shortly, then pay the taxes and get my new license plate sticker for the car, and pick up dry cleaning. Also confirmed my dentist appointment for cleaning tomorrow.
More soccer coaching this afternoon. Already 74F heading to 80 and N.O.S. Of course, rain is then predicted for Thursday-Sunday. Oh joy.
Well, after 70 years, I’ll be 106, so I think I’d expect to be almost done
Stuff handed in, managed to squeeze in a doctor’s visit this morning, as my skin’s just getting silly bad now. It’s unusual here to get an appointment unless you call frst thing, but someone must have cancelled 'cos they had a slot free in 15 minutes. Lucky it’s close. Got some new stuff to try, fingers crossed.
Called in another of the nearby towns to do a quick bit of shopping and general errands on the way back from Uni, and just got back now. Planning on homemade pizza for dinner, just need to assemble it…
I keep the one in the back if we use it or not.
Just in case I need an explanation for a bunch of overturned earth.
How goes your romps with Da Jungle? Still hanging in?
On other news; the car is right again. Well, it still belongs to me ------- but the oil issue should be solved. It was one of the two things I suspected; the gasket for the drain plug had a small defect. Literally its one of those odd things that should never happen that I’ve done myself. :smack:
Pop quiz: Smart or stoopit - walking in the dim pre-sunrise hours on the side of the road wearing dark clothing.
<cue Final Jeopardy theme>
Alex, what is STOOPIT!!!
On my way in this morning, I caught a bit of movement out of the corner of my eye and realized it was a pedestrian walking along the shoulder wearing long black pants and a black shirt/hoodie (too dark to be certain which.) I guess he didn’t realize he was invisible. Or he’s just stoopit.
I’ve dug out most of my 35mm film camera collection, with the intention of using all of them. My first 35mm SLR was a Canon AE-1 Program. I’ll give you one guess which camera I’m using to restart my shutterbuggery. I mean shutterbugging. I mean photography.
Today is a commuting day, so I hauled me arse – and the AE-1 Program – down to Seattle. The office is next to a dock on the Duwamish River, and I thought one of the barges would be a good thing to take pictures of. There’s always a barge parked right outside of a coworker’s window. Except today. Apparently, someone discovered my intentions and took the barge away.
Howdy Y’all! Almost done with laundry. YAY! Also went over to the church house to do a couple of things early this mornin’. Goin’ back in an hour to meet the locksmith about the fubar lock that I attempted to fix but failed. He surprised me by sayin’ he could be there then. Not complainin’ though cause it needs fixin’.
A woman I worked with was killed jogging in a black track suit with a walkman on one night.
I was curious about one of my cameras, so I sent an email to B&H Photo & Video. They sent me a .pdf file of the invoice for my new Nikon FM3a, Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens, and a couple of filters that I bought on February 13th, 2005. I was hoping they’d just tell me when I bought it, and how much I paid for it. It was awesome that they sent me the actual invoice.
