Melted Ice-An off(hockey) Season MMP

I had a nappy poo and the sun came out. I wanted rain dangit!

Chicken nachos for dindin tonight just cause I want some.

Puggy I had no idea you were so trendy! :stuck_out_tongue:

You can have my rain **Swampy. ** My kitchen floor is filthy because the dogs were tearing through the garden and yard this morning. I now have to wash and wax it. A mere Swiffering just will not do.

I took Polar to the vet this morning for his rabies shot. It turns out he has a staph infection near his incisions for the neutering and where they had to go in because his second testicle hadn’t dropped.

I noticed he was panting kind of hard last night, but was shocked at how bad the area looked at the vet. He has little red bumps all over and incisions are tender. I kept trying to keep him from licking that area, but I can’t be here 24/7.

At any rate, he’s on a 10 day round of some other antibiotic and I need to put Neosporin on it to keep it soothed. I can alternate the Neosporin with aloe. I didn’t have any handy at the moment, so I sprayed some Lanacane anti-bacterial stuff on there.

I could have sworn I had some Neosporin and that I just saw it the other day.:dubious: Oh well, I’ll get to the store today and pick some up. I’m under strict instructions from my husband to ensure I buy him some Qwisp cereal. He loves that stuff and was shocked to find out they still make it.

I told him that if he actually did the grocery shopping once in awhile, he would be aware of it.

Frankly, I like less sweet cereals. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the odd bowl of Fruit Loops or Lucky Charms once in a great while, but I like stuff like Kashi, grape nuts, and Corn Flakes. Yep, I’m a weirdo.

Taters if it helps any, I prefer corn flakes, rice krispies and raisin bran. So that makes two weirdos!

Poor Polar! Good healin’ vibes headed his way. I’m surprised the vet did not suggest a cone of shame.

I remembered my one big errand of the day, pick up the dry cleanin’. Go Me! The door leadin’ from the kitchen to the garage is message central. Anything I must remember gets written on a sticky note and stuck on that door. When I went to take out some trash I saw the note and then and there stopped everything and went to the dry cleaners. Well, I did put the trash in the trash can cause takin’ that with me would have been not right. Of course the dry cleanin’ sat in a bag on a chair in the bedroom for almost three weeks before I remembered to take it yesterday but that does not matter cause it’s done.

Don’t you have another baby? How come we never hear about him? Sorry about BIL.
[/QUOTE]

Because this one’s a good baby  And I’m busier. The new little one sleeps much better than Gnat ever did, although so far it’s mostly if he’s in a baby carrier. That’s okay, because I have him tied to me most of the time as I chase frantically after my fast and fearless toddler.

Bah humbug.

Off to pick up pizza, then it’s off to the concert.

GT

Nachos for dindin and watermelon for dessert. NUM! Just can’t get enough of watermelon in season.

I killded the MMP again!

Murderer!

Kitty is home and doing well. She’s very stiff and sore, still and that bruise is obscenely large. When I got home from work, she wouldn’t leave me alone for about 90 minutes.

I’m glad Tasha is home, rigs.

Home.

Poor Polar. :skritches:
Yay for Tasha being home!

Up, caffeinated, off to irk.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. Happy Saturday!

Nuttin’ much happenin’ today. Couple friends comin’ over this afternoon with steaks even! We’ll hang at the pool and later grill steaks and Ima make those Friggin’ Good N.O.T.. Possibly a sallit will come into play.

doggio you’re up and off to irk mighty early!

And I killded the MMP yet again!

everyone’s either sleeping in or already out - as I am about to be with the next fifteen minutes

Where ya goin’ Rosie? [del]Nosy[/del] Inquiring Mumpers wanna know.

I’ve been up for nearly an hour. I’m caffienating and then I shall commence with tidying.

Fortunately, I was smart and obtained the groceries required for tonight’s dinner yesterday, so I don’t have to go anywhere.

Polar has decided he doesn’t want me anywhere near his nether regions. When he sees the tube of Neosporin he fights me. I’ll have to wait for my husband to get up so he can help me.

Currently, both dogs are lying next to me. Brandy is guarding her baby, and Polar is staring at her with longing and makes an ocassional moaning noise that seems to say, “Play with me!”.

I’m going to read the funnies now.

It’s 81 degrees Amurrkin and not humid out. The water is cool even! So predicted high today is 87 and 90 tomorrow. That’s wonderfully less hot than usual weather for these parts for the Fourth. Yay for that!

Now back to poolside.

OYKW is grillin’ hotdawgs. The hongries overtook us.

We have decided this is a Goldilocks day. Not to hot. Not to cold. Just Right!
