**sari **- it’s probably more than 40 years since I vacationed in OC - the only thing I recognized from then is Phillips. Of course, back then, I didn’t care about much of anything except biking on the boardwalk in the morning and spending as much time as I could in the ocean. I’m glad it’s pre-season - not crowded at all!! Which means many of the boardwalk shops won’t be open yet… no biggie.
Good morning! I slept till 6 and now I’m wide awake, as usual. **FCD **is snoring away so I’ll surf in silence, 'cause I’m nice, dammit. Lots of dogs staying in this motel - much barking heard last night. So we could have brought Higgs… yeah, there’s a good idea. 
According to Intellicast, it’s 39 right now - brrrrrrrrrr!!!

And for the record, I don’t like laptops because the keyboards suck! I know where everything is on my keyboard, but this one is too compact. Then again, it’s better than nothing!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 83 for the day. Nice! I should do some outside stuff but that probably ain’t happenin’. I do have to be over to the church house around ten and may not do much beyond spiffin’ the place up. I’ve even talked OYKW into goin’ and helpin’. Bribin’ him with brekkie at IHOP did the trick. 
Also, the promise of steak, sauteed ‘shrooms, wild rice (with a nice sauce made from sauteein’ the 'shrooms) and sallit helped seal the deal. Plus I did appreciate him for the ice cream.
gotti drugs might make the remodelin’ process go better. Just sayin’.

MOOOOOOM IME hotels/motels and dawgs just don’t go well together. I have taken dawgs on trips in the past and for some reason they always seemed to freak out in hotels and motels. I had a Cocker Spaniel (may Jake RIP, he was the bestest!) who was as mellow as they come everywhere but hotels/motels. He barked and whined and carried on sump’n fierce every time. So, probably best Higgs was spared the trauma. Then again, who knows, she might be one to raid the mini bar and order room service.
Ok, now I need more caffiene. I’s also hongry but we ain’t goin’ out to brekkie for a while yet. Maybe some toast and strawberry jam will help.

So very true! We’ve spent the morning running figures. The good thing is that we think our household food budget will be reduced by about 75% once the bottomless pit known as our son is at school.

Home from cleanin’ the church house. Ya know the place is suddenly hyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge when one is vacuumin’ it. Anywho, it’s all vacuumed, dusted, moped and otherwise sanitized. There were also folks cleanin’ the playground, settin’ up the Altar for tomorrow, workin’ in the gardens and mowin’ the back forty. Lots of bzzzzzzy Leprechauns over to ol’ St. Pat’s this mornin’!
We at a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig brekkie at IHOP. So big that N.O.L. is not even a consideration. We’re both all showered and OYKW is zonked out. I may join him shortly. I’s tahrd!
