I need to come up with a name for these Percocet and Benadryl-fueled blurfs.
Had to be a few towns over yesterday morn with time to kill so plan was to go out to breakfast. Found some hole-in-the-wall joint & walked in. Cooking was some guy with a couple of days worth of whiskers & long hair in a ponytail with a baseball hat on; neither looked to have been washed recently. Oh great :rolleyes:
Turns out, he’s the owner & couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier, engaging J2. When we went out for lunch with others, we didn’t even order anything as we were still so stuffed from 3 hrs earlier. I’m :o.
Today’s # is 46, not degrees, miles.
Just spend half the day rushing, and keeping a careful eye on the time, 'cos I thought I had this theatre thing again tonight. I don’t, there’s no show tonight, it’s not til tuesday…
I’m glad I realised before I just heated up a tin of soup for dinner and rushed through town thinking that was all I had time for. Not that fud will be much more elaborate. I’m too lazy to cook today.

Hi, honeys, I’m home!! We’ve been back for about an hour. We’re all unpacked and I’m vegging and catching up with my email and other on-line stuff. We went from a sunny, beautiful coastal morning to overcast with threats of rain. That’s OK - we need the rain.
Higgs missed us. So did Taz - they’re both plastered to FCD. I haven’t seen Ziva yet, but that’s not unusual - she’s just that way. **FCD **is watching TV, and I will join him shortly. It was a nice mini-vacation, but I’m glad to be home.

Had to irk today, unfortunately, then have to go in at 3 am tomorrow for an inventory shift. Just a half-day though, so I’m out early enough to have a nearly full day off after a little nip-nap.
Gorgeous day here on the front lines with the Canad-juns. Low 70’s and no major blood-sucking bug invasions yet. Give them time - they’ll be back…
So far today I have accomplished deheathenization and ush duties, N.O.L. and a nap. No wonder I’m so tahrd!

He woke up…drained the gas out of his motorcycle so the movers can ship it on the moving truck, set the lawnmower to run for 15 mins to burn off the last bit of gas in that and now he is sleeping again. So shush!
I have packed for about a week, labeled the things that don’t need to be packed, sorted out LibbyCats traveling kit with food and litter and blankie and box liners then sorted out toiletries and valuables we are carrying with us and made sure we have the spare keys for the cars and also the keys to the new house! I have also washed sheets which are dry and ready to go back on the bed and a load of towels is drying. I need a nap.
I need a nap after reading all that.
Not feeling well. Feels like a bad cold to minor flu, but all the congestion is on one side of my head (I don’t think it’s a sinus infection, since the gunk being blown out is clear, with no icky coloration). I still have a voice, but my throat feels raw. Ugh.
