Playing bass clarinet in a concert tomorrow. I love that instrument, but it’s very heavy.
Laundry walls are painted now. It’s looking fa-boo! How many people do you know that picked a paint color to match a favorite sewing machine?
I’m in about three worlds of hurt and waiting for Ox to engage. But, I don’t really care because I know that the thing that’s killing me is going to be repaired in two months.
Just have to get cracking on the “honey do” list, as home improvements more strenuous than picking paint colors will be off my menu until at least after Christmas. The sewing room needs two electric circuits run to support sewing machines and an air conditioner, the office needs a circuit for an air conditioner and/or rooting around in the attic to run a duct off the house AC. I’d also really like to get heat reducing tint on the windows as that room just bakes in the summer. A phone line to the bedroom would be nice, as well as two more extensions to the office, and then there’s much “yardening” to be done.
All in less than two months. EEK!
Thanks for the hugs all. No bad dreams last night but very little sleep. Kind of a blurfy zombie today. Lots of work to do too. Ugh. 3.5 more days of work on the boat, then I “get” to go back to Houston and… begin packing up my life and crap. Yay!
I am gonna be so happy when I stop laying in bed at night in one of two modes: 1)crying, 2)trying not to cry.

Not much else to report here. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence. I have ush duty today so I need to be there a bit early to take care of pre-deheathenization ush duties and will be there a little later takin’ care of post-deheathenization ush duties. There are, also, durin’ deheathenization ush duties as well. Ush duty be a little bit of irk! Also, I am bein’ forced to eat N.O.L. out today.

Blame it on the all the dust that settled on the keyboard
I has a blurf. There was much wine consumed last night whilst watching movies at home, not always a bad thing but the post-wine blurfage is still to be dealt with.
I got my hair cut yesterday and this morning I put some colour on it so it’s all looking good now. Still sorting out some holiday-related stuff too which is fun, got a few things planned for my Hungary trip in two weeks, and now starting to put together an itinerary for Canada in August/September.
Not quite sure what I am going to do with the rest of today, I have some domestic chores to do, I owe the wii machine half an hour of my time, and I ought to bake bread since I’ve only got half a loaf left now. Tonight’s dinner will be Chinese chicken curry and egg-fried rice so that will be very yummy. But I suppose I should go and construct something for N.O.L first!

Nope. It’s the Quail Hollow Herb and Craft Show in Hartville. I’ve continued to go for several years because the painted glassware lady talked me into it and I love sitting and chatting with her but I had decided if last year wasn’t good that I was going to bail. Well, lo and behold last year was very good. So, I will return and hope that she makes it again this year because neither she nor her husband are in very good health lately.
Not looking good. I haven’t talked to her in awhile and now I see that her website is no longer working. 
I hope they’re ok and just not doing shows. She’s such a wonderful lady.
Blurf. I’m preparing to do the laundry I put off yesterday. How dare it not do itself! Lazy damn laundry. Especially since I didn’t sleep well last night. I blame Akira.
I just figured out that the plant outside my window is a clematis. I think. The flowers look like the one I linked to.
I couldn’t find it in a Yiddish dictionary…

Up since 4am but I did fall back to sleep in the recliner at about 6. Mr ems is sick and was up coughing a lot of the night so once he actually got knocked out I was awake and tossing and turning and didn’t want to wake him so I got up.
Laundry is washing and we have been for breakfast and I am about to strip the sheets off the bed and then start labeling things with post-its for tomorrow to ID what we don’t want the movers to pack and then later we will pack clothes for the week. Fun!
