I was gearing up for a light-hearted rant about how in both this thread and the game people are constantly misspelling the word “busing.” Bus is the vehicle, buss is a kiss (“you must remember thus: A buss is just a buss…”), and even though it looks wrong, the word should be busing. Otherwise, there has been a whole lot of inappropriate kissing going on.
And then I looked it up in my newer dictonary, and I’ll be damned if they haven’t changed the rules on me! Apparently both “busing” and “bussing” are accepted as correct. (I’ll still argue that “busing” is more correct ) It’s like that stupid “traveling and travelling are both technically correct” rule that I hate, too.
So…yeah. That.
More on topic, I have to say that as a lurker I was totally enjoying being able to follow the game, and it’s a shame that Story’s hard work seems to have been undone by players losing interest. I really hope it doesn’t discourage people from trying again. As **TexCat **says, maybe fewer people would push it along?
I am utterly mystified that scum chose to kill me given my pathetic participation level in this game. Maybe they thought I was onto something? If so, I guess it would have to be Astral, who’s the only person I talked about other than Inner yesterDay. Or that’s what the want the town to think, I suppose.
While not technically confirmed, the circumstances of the TexCat lynch made Rysto look Town. Rysto’s very late vote made all the difference in the lynch. If Rysto were scum he could have easily pushed the lynch toward a Townie or simply done nothing and let the tiebreaker possibly tilt in favor of Scum.
Y’know, on thinking about it, I think that the reason the game is so dead is that Town is a victim of their own success. Normally, at this point of a game, people would be picking through the old posts of the known Scum to try to find clues in them, but there just aren’t too many of those: My posts became irrelevant as soon as Daphne fingered me and it became likely that I would swing, so there’s only really one Day of my posts to analyze. TexCat gives three Days, and Pleonast and the other person I can’t remember basically didn’t give any at all, by being so quiet. Four person-Days of posts just isn’t much to go on. So now it’s almost like Day 1 all over again as far as information available goes, but nobody wants to make Day 1-style cases on Day, what is this, six?
Prior to today I was fairly confident that Astral Rejection was Town. However, his use of his “one time power” to stop his own lynch is incredibly anti-Town. Town has no choice but to lynch Astral Rejection now, which is a huge waste of Town resources. A Townie Astral should have just taken the lynch.
On the other hand, a scummy Astral should have kept silent about the lynch fail.
Meanwhile, I find the Town’s use of the hammer hilarious. What’s the point in using a hammer at all, if you’re just going to shorten the day by a total of twelve hours between two uses of it?
Word. I regret instituting it at all, but they had me convinced that the Days needed to be, like, 48 hours long so I figured we’d breeze through the endgame with quick hammers and get through it. Lesson (one of many) learned.

Astrals indication that he knew Idle was town still isn’t sitting well, although even if Astral is scum, he probably deserves the win for keeping things going.
One or two scum left? Tex cat above indicates plural, but probably shouldn’t read too much into that as I suspect Texcat was just being very careful in phrasing so as not to indicate either way if there is only one left.
Also where the hell are all the town power roles, the fact that we have seen only Sherlock, the mason and the mason doctor, Shirley there are more.
That would make me lean towards Astral being town as he has probably used a power and with all the dead scum power roles revealed, plus an unspecified may or may not recruit one shot power, I would think there must be more town powers to balance.
The fact that he apparently evaded a lynch makes me want to think he’s town because I hate hate hate it when scum are given get out of lynch free cards. It’s town’s biggest weapon and the one that even vanilla can have a say in. But the way he’s posting I absolutely think he’s in scum cahoots with sinjin.
