Excellent news!
Very happy to hear this!
Hell has indeed frozen over!
Well, last night’s episode was a doozy! What a lot of people on the board suspected about Lucifer’s vulnerability has proven to be true. Intriguing!
I haven’t seen it yet! Argghhhh! Must know. I am off to look for spoilers.
Now I’m wondering what Amenadiel is going to do with his hired gunslinger. Do angels take an oath never to harm a mortal?
I enjoyed seeing the car window get broken during the Maze-Amenadiel encounter.
The preview showed his angry with Mustache…how much angrier will he be when he sees the coin?
The coin is pretty humorous in itself. What, Lucifer needs a subway token to get back to hell?
I didn’t "get it"when I first saw the car scene. Had no idea that was supposed to be
Maze and Amenadiel goin’ at it.
Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing - I hadn’t been able to find this info yet.
Ah, Lucifer. My weekly dose of “hot-guy-who-would-annoy-the-crap-out-of-me-in-real-life”. :o
Completely agree. There’s a number of “hot guys on tv” that I couldn’t stand being around in real life, but that I happily watch on tv.
Glad he resumed some anger and power at the end of this last ep. Learning that Amenadiel would actually take steps to kill him really gave him a jolt. As did the lesson of the week – being good in secret is more satisfying than making a show about it. Added to his power, took away from the insecure teenager aspects he sometimes shows.
Beings of supernatural strength, and, presumably, sensual responses, can have fun in ways that might be too painful for mere humans. Amenadiel doesn’t seem very angelic…more like a creature of id than of superego.
Amenadiel seems a bit less angelic with each episode.
I suspect that’s the point. If Lucifer can change, so can he.
Years ago, there was a series about Superman as a teenager, called Smallville. Clark Kent and Lana Lang were in love, but he wouldn’t do anything about it, because he was afraid he’d break her. But in one episode, Lana somehow got powers similar to his, and they went at it. Seismic detectors all over Kansas recorded the result.
If so, Lucifer has broken it several times this season.
Well, ol’ Lucy got himself cast out eons ago. I’m thinking of Amenadiel, who appears to be in God’s good graces, at least for now. If he veers too far off the “path of righteousness” in his plan to return the devil to hell, what happens to him? If he kills or even roughs up his mustached minion, what kind of consequences will there be?
Wow, that was a good episode. Started off slow, but the last ~15 minutes was great. Congrats to all of you who correctly guessed that Chloe makes Lucifer mortal.
Does the coin really do anything, is moustache-guy that easily pursuaded?
Hey, wait a minute.
Didn’t they say early on that while Lucifer was AWOL, nobody was going to hell?
So how come Coma Boy went?
If Amenadiel sent him there, then clearly, Lucifer isn’t needed to send people to hell, nor for them to be tormented there.
Even if the coin works, what kept him from shooting Lucifer after he had the coin? He doesn’t strike me as a man whose word is his bond. If he had shot Lucifer (although we now know it wouldn’t have killed him), he would have both the coin and Amenadiel’s good will, as far as that went. Now he has Amenadiel after him.
