No, no. It’s a terrific idea. I encourage all Georgia Republicans to write in Donald Trump’s name in the Senate runoffs.
Seconded. If I lived in Georgia, I’d get the T-shirt.
This truly is an excellent idea, and I fully support it.
Even as we are in the midst of a worsening pandemic, and there is an individual in the White House trying to stay in power illegally, Jeb Bush seems to think the problem in the world is the Twitter user who rates people’s home backgrounds on video calls.
Jeb Bush Says Room Rater Is ‘Part of the Problem’ as Donald Trump Tries to Subvert the Election?
Actually, I think DB’s reaction to what Jeb said is off the mark. When he said “You’re part of the problem,” I think that’s a common remark he uses to embellish whatever inconvenience he happens to be complaining about. Flat tire? “Faulty tire makers are part of the problem.” Speeding ticket? “Overzealous cops with an agenda for public servants are part of the problem.” It’s whatever getting Jeb himself butthurt, not what’s plaguing the rest of the nation.
If were to win the lottery tomorrow, I would buy boxes and boxes of these shirts and hire folks in Georgia to give them away.
Yes, it’s brilliant! Think of how many tank loads of librul tears it will create! All good Trump supporters MUST do this!!!
By the way, is Donny Jr. getting the special drug cocktail for his Covid? Did daddy include him like he did Ben Carson? I’m guessing no since Donny Jr.doesn’t get a vote if the 25th Amendment gets exercised.
Donny Jr. is getting an oleander plant.
Earlier today, I was thinking about this laughable statement by the Secretary of State. I wonder if any foreign ministers or ambassadors to the US called him up to ask him if he was serious or pointed out how destabilizing it is.
That’s so stupid, one has to wonder whether the originator really believes it or is just trolling the hell out of Trump supporters.
I’m sure they saw how Pompeo said it with a strange nervous laugh, as if he were telegraphing his true thoughts: “I can’t believe I’m saying this shit.”
With the way 2020 is going, I would not be surprised if the write-in votes for Trump caused him to win a seat as a Senator.
The fact that he’s not a Georgia resident aside, it would almost be worth electing him Senator just to see how crazy he would drive McConnell. Can you imagine?
Yeah, my first thought on seeing the shirt was, “Surely some lefty or liberal is behind this.”
Don’t forget the blacklight colonoscopy.
To be honest, this sometimes happens to politicians on both sides of the aisle. Some years ago when spinner wheels were momentarily popular, a city councilman – I don’t remember which party – had a momentary scare at a stop sign when the car on the cross street stopped but the wheel centers didn’t. At the next meeting he proposed a ban on spinners in the city.
The mayor, the other four councilmembers, and a good bit of the audience looked at him like he had two heads. “Moving right along,” the mayor said, and went on to the next agenda item.
A company owned by a major donor to President Trump that operates auto-title loan stores with names such as LoanStar and Moneymax secured a $25 million low-interest loan from a government pandemic aid program, using what consumer advocates describe as a loophole to a rule designed to prevent most lenders from getting this federal help.
The cash infusion to Wellshire Financial Services — part of a multi-state title loan empire run by Atlanta businessman Rod Aycox — came from the Federal Reserve’s $600 billion Main Street Lending program for small- and medium-size businesses.
…Wellshire’s government-backed, five-year loan came with a 3.15 percent interest rate, Fed records show.
Loans to consumers at Wellshire’s auto-title loan stores can carry a 350 percent annual rate, thanks to high fees and interest supercharging the cost of borrowing, according to corporate disclosure documents.
…Kyle Herrig, president of Accountable, a government watchdog group tracking pandemic spending, said the government should not be helping companies such as Wellshire.
“If the Trump administration thinks the high-cost lending industry deserves a taxpayer-backed loan,” Herrig said, “it should come with the same 300 percent interest rate they charge consumers.”
Aycox and representatives of Wellshire did not respond to multiple phone calls and emails requesting comment.

Why else would you give to the CFSG except to get perks like this one?
New Stupid Republican Idea: Sore Loser Whataboutism
A recent letter in the Chicago Tribune (which I unfortunately can’t find on their site) basically pitted Democrats for calling Republicans sore losers, saying in effect “You guys were sore losers four years ago.”
You mean when Hillary conceded on election night and the Obama administration immediately began working with the Trump transition team? Yeah, that’s exactly how Trump and the GOP are behaving now, right?
Minor quibble, I don’t think that at this point in 2016, there was much in the way of a Trump transition team for Obama to work with.
I read somewhere that prior to the 2016 election, the Obama administration reached out to both the Clinton and Trump campaigns to plan the transition but the Trump people didn’t really care. (Obviously this was when they thought they’d lose.)
