Probably reflected off the foil hat, assuming she made it with the shiny side out.
An Arizona legislator, who is the chairman of the committee the bill would be discussed in, has introduced a bill that would allow the state legislature to decide what candidate gets the state’s electoral votes, no matter who won the election. And they could vote as late as January 20th, even after Congress has certified the votes. And there is no requirement that a quorum of the legislature be present to vote, meaning the Republicans could gather together in a closet and not invite the Democratic members.

Cori Bush says she’s had to move her office because Marjorie Taylor Greene and her staff were berating her and her staff, and doing it maskless.
Why can’t they just tell these assholes to fuck off and walk away?
She carries a gun.
We found the voter fraud!
Didn’t Der Trumpenstein suggest a while back that we just needed to do away with elections?
The source is a little unobjective in their language, but the gist is that a Florida state legislator has introduced a bill to prevent felons, people under 21, and “hard-to-hire employees” from getting the recently approved $15 an hour minimum wage.

The Republican Party is riven by internal tensions, and moderate voices fear it is headed for disaster at the hands of the far right.
The centrists’ worry is that the party is branding itself as the party of insurrectionists and conspiracy theorists. This spells catastrophe for the GOP’s ability to appeal beyond a hardcore base, they say.
…
My bold.
“Is heading for,” “is branding itself”? Too late. It’s a done deal.

Arizona to Texas: Hold my beer. Arizona Republican want to give the legislature the ability to over-ride the voters because, I guess, Democrats can win there now.
I wonder how likely something like that is to pass. Would constituents notice it and protest?
Sure, but if they do, they will just outlaw voting altogether.
I read that if the Republicans managed to pass such an abortion of a bill that then the Democratic party is ready to go for the ballot proposition solution. They would submit a proposition to dismiss that power grab for the 2022 midterms. I would think that Republicans doing that would actually lead to most Democrats keeping attention for the midterms, resulting on a few more crazies being voted out.
If I was an optimist I would had said that all the crazies would be voted out, but I’m into more realistic probabilities.
The Oklahoma legislator who introduce a bill instituting Bigfoot hunting season has also introduced a bill requiring vaccine manufacturers to notify the public if "the vaccine contains human parts, animal parts, metals in any quantity, tracking devices, or any DNA-altering properties.”
