Same here, but didn’t need a bunch. Just one.
Thanks for that.
Creative people amaze me.
That’s awesome, but I had to quit after one minute. I can’t stand her voice so I have to take it in small doses. I’ll do the second half after I’ve recovered.
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Granted, there currently is no way of telling who is responsible for this but, given how over the top it is, it had to be the work of some MAG-hatted maroons.
The paper reported that officials at Levitt Shell have filed a police report, noting that because of the pandemic, the venue run by a nonprofit organization has been shuttered and is looking at a $700,000 shortfall this year. Among the messages reportedly painted on the Levitt Shell were: “BLM,” “Defund MPD,” “End Homelessness,” “Give Our City Back,” " Eat the Rich" and obscene references to Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland and President Donald Trump.
Tennessee Rep. London Lamar tweeted a theory about the source of the graffiti, suggesting that it was not done by Black Lives Matter activists, but by others looking to discredit the movement. “I bet my money that those tagging property in Memphis with BLM and Defund Police are individuals trying to make this movement look bad!” she tweeted. “Don’t believe that it’s the movement! It’s not! WE ALL KNOW WHO’S OUT TO MAKE US LOOK BAD!”
There’s always graffiti on the wall at Graceland.
From 2015:
Somebody, presumably several somebodys, painted over those with left-wing slogans.
I’ve seen one call on Facebook to go after BLM because of this but apparently the post that was responding to has been taken down by its owner.
This shit in Memphis reminds me of that anthrax scare after 9/11. Total misdirection, likely by people who don’t even live there. Mayor Strickland is a Democrat!
“Landmarkers?”
Congressman Clay Higgins (a Republican representing Louisiana’s 3rd District) posted some death threats yesterday.
Higgins posted a picture of some armed Black protesters on Facebook and said "One way ticket fellas. Have your affairs in order. Me?.. I wouldn’t even spill my beer. I’d drop any 10 of you where you stand.”
Higgins then went on to claim “We don’t care what color you are. We don’t care if you’re left or right.”
But Higgins showed a picture of the people who he said would be shot in Louisiana because they were a threat; it was a group of armed Black men.
Higgins, who has always said he supports the Second Amendment, said that if anyone showed up “armed” that would justify them being seen as a threat and killed. White members of a right wing militia group appeared at a public rally but no action was taken against them and Higgins did not comment on their armed presence.
Facebook removed this post for inciting violence. Higgins, who apparently doesn’t understand that he’s a member of Congress and Facebook is a private company, complained that this was “government control”.
But what about the other two?
The president, while accusing Democrats of voter fraud, encourages his supporters to vote multiple times.
So he might get two votes, but if they get caught, he won’t go to jail. That’s a no-brainer scheme for him.
This guy is running against him. He’s great to follow on Twitter.
This is my favorite tweet out of the thread.
What better slogan does he need than “I won’t shoot you”?
The new Trumpist talking point is that everything bad in America is the Democratic Party’s fault.
Raymond Arroyo: Biden tries to blame Trump for America’s problems is an 8 minute video Fox News just put up on YouTube. The description is: “Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is once again blaming someone else for things he and his party are directly responsible for.”
Higgins is only willing to shoot 32.5% of the people living in Louisiana. He apparently feels 63.4% of the people living in Louisiana will support him because of this.
Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer has been blocked from Twitter for tweeting out the following:
““Kyle Rittenhouse will go down in American history alongside that brave unknown patriot at Lexington Green who fired ‘The Shot Heard Round The World’ on April 19, 1775. A Second American Revolution against Tyranny has begun.””
Wait - the Redcoats were patriots?
Much like the later Confederates, of course!
Conservatives… Always on the wrong side of history.
