Not a snowball’s chance at the center of the sun that this would go anywhere, but the mere fact that they bring up a bill like this and are talking about it helps “legitimize” their plans to get the Republican legislatures to make it de facto so by appointing their own slates of electors.
McConnell and McCarthy decline to attend the Ginsburg memorial services.
They were probably afraid that their presence would cause RBG to raise from the dead to kick their asses.
And then they wouldn’t have an open seat on SCOTUS any more.
I, for one, welcome our new zombie justice.
Or that they would be struck by lightning.
Or that they would receive the same reception as Trump.
From the State Department Twitter feed:

: Normal states do not violently suppress legitimate protests, jail their own citizens or those of other countries on specious charges, engage in torture, and impose severe restrictions on fundamental freedoms.
Since Pompeo considers himself a good Christian, I think a little Romans 2:1 and 2:5 is in order
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming,
Rightwingers are running memes trying to prove that Amy Coney Barret can’t be a racist, she has two Haitian children, and here they are, right her, in this picture, with her and her husband. Except it’s Barrett’s sister, not her, and neither Barrett’s husband nor her children. I guess all Haitian children look alike.
Besides, i don’t think anybody is accusing her of being racist, just of wanting to form a theology.
Wait…hasn’t Trump also paid thousands of dollars to sex workers?

That is precisely the reason they are using this line of attack. Its classic whataboutism. Its proof that Biden is just as bad as Trump in this area so we no longer have to pay attention to Trumps infidelities. Of course it’s a massive false equivalence, but its enough of a fig leaf to help those who desperately want to support Trump reconcile the cognitive dissonance of his serial adulteries.
And, even if it were the case that Hunter is as bad as Trump, which I seriously doubt, it is still not Hunter Biden that is running for president.
The Governor of South Dakota posts a photo of herself hunting and claims that it’s social distancing, with the slogan, “Hunting, not Covid.”
New Zombie Justice, coming this fall on UPN.
I heard Amazon picked it up so they could pair it with Gary Busey, Pet Judge.
A litigious conservative activist in Houston, the Harris County Republican party, and a number of Republican officials and candidates are asking the Texas Supreme Court to limit in-person and absentee voting options for Harris County voters during the pandemic.
The county, the state’s most populous and a major Democratic stronghold, began letting voters drop off absentee ballots Monday for the Nov. 3 general election at 11 annexes. In line with a directive from Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, the county also intends to begin in-person early voting Oct. 13.

Geez Louise. I guess the next step is to make it illegal for Democrats to vote at all, amirite?
Hannity brought Individual 1’s ex doctor, Ronny Jackson (who is running for Congress) on his show to tell us all that Biden is using performance enhancing drugs, why else does he seem so coherent?
The same Ronny Jackson who told us how healthy Individual 1 is.
And was accused of using opioids and giving them to a staff member. It’s always projection.
Eric Trump gave a quote that seems to indicate either that he is gay, or that he thinks that “LGBT” is some sort of law enforcement agency. It’s hard to tell which.
“The LGBT community, they are incredible. And you should see how they come out in full force for my father every single day. I’m part of that community, and we love the man. Thank you for protecting our neighborhoods, thank you for protecting our cities.”
