Unless they are being placed on official Republican property, they are no longer owned by the Republican Party-they are abandoned by the Republican Party. Pick them up and take them to the dump.
Even if they are on Republican property, they were not handled by the official Registrar, and therefore the chain of custody cannot be verified, and they’ll have to be thrown out.
So what did this mean in the article linked above? A Republican’s mouth was moving, so I assume he was lying, but is there some fig leaf of truth behind this at all?

I’ve changed my mind-I think they would make excellent receptacles for bags of dog shit. I would even give Republicans credit for keeping our parks and sidewalks clean.

A week after the election, you pop up and say “see, here are a bunch of Republican ballots that were never counted. How many more weren’t counted? we’ll never know. ______ illegitimately won the election.” Had they not been caught red handed, it’s likely those ballots would have been planted so that they were found near a post office or a local Democratic Party headquarters.

It’s the only Republican game plan at this point; Destroy democracy. They are actively doing this now. They know they can’t win the election, so they are choosing to try to burn down the country instead.

The very fact that we call them a militia does them too many favors. Why are a bunch of white guys with guns a militia, but a bunch of black guys with guns a gang?
And the militia itself, historically, was never really something that had a permanent and self-determining existence, and it certainly isn’t in the modern era. Whatever you think about second amendment rights, private militias that make independent decisions about when they’re going to go into action are not constitutionally authorized. In fact, the “well regulated” part of the second amendment was precisely about state control and training and supervision; it didn’t simply mean “These guys know how to march in order and shoot straight.” The founders never thought of militias as vigilantes who got to set their own rules about how and when to go into action.
This is why I took my ballot directly to the Board of Elections in my county and handed it in. Plus, I got a lollipop!

This would have been my response, exactly. The goal is to create an appearance of voter fraud committed by Democrats, so as to bring a challenge in court and thereby attempt to “win” a seat in an election that they would otherwise likely lose in a fair election. The ballot-harvesting BS is just the fig leaf they are using because they got caught. IMHO, of course.
