But was it a TAN suit? If so, “Lock him up!”

Armed guards at an early voting place in Florida claim they were hired by the Trump campaign. The Trump campaign denies it.
I can see this going either way. The Trump campaign lying about it is always #1, but some Trump supporter claiming to be official and doing his part to prevent voter fraud by hiring the guards himself is not out of the question.
Trump released the video of his 60 Minutes interview; I don’t think it’s going to have the effect he thinks it will have.
An Individual 1 supporter with a verified Twitter account thinks it’s appropriate to criticize Biden for kissing his son. It did not go well for him.
Trump Supporter Faces Backlash For Asking If Joe Biden Kissing Hunter Is 'Appropriate'?
Among other things, he included a moment where he needs both hands to lift a small water glass (the sort of clutter that surely won’t be left in the network edit, but is now presented for all to see and contemplate what it implies about his health).
Not really an idea “of the day,” but definitely stupid and 99% Republican:
This steadfast rejection of reality is where the Foxconn debacle stands apart from other development projects that fall short of their hype. The company’s desperate quest to maintain appearances caused it to fail repeatedly and in ways more destructive than mere ordinary failure would have been: local businesses were strung along, civil servants spent years figuring out what the company is doing, residents were removed from land the company didn’t need, and again and again recruits were lured in by the vision of a grand manufacturing renaissance in Wisconsin.
The illusion was defended by GOP officials at all levels of government, from Mount Pleasant to the State Assembly to the White House, who accused anyone pointing out that the project was off track of trying to scuttle it for partisan ends, as if the existence of the factory were open to debate and positive thinking might make it real.
But in actual reality, the project has succeeded in manufacturing mostly this: an endless supply of wonderful things for the President to promise his supporters.
The other good thing is that he released it early enough that Saturday Night Live can incorporate a parody of the interview in its show this Saturday.
My question on the project was that, even if all had gone as promised, then it would have cost several hundred thousand dollars per job created. I don’t know how the economics of that are supposed to work out in our favor.
Of course, they didn’t create but a handful of makework jobs in order to try to qualify for subsidies, and ended up costing taxpayers $400 million to set up infrastructure for this plant, that will never get used, and quite a number of people were thrown out of their homes in order to make room for it.
The eminent domain didn’t really work out in homeowner’s favor. Sounds like the wealthier areas were able to make out well, selling to the govt for well above market value, but the less affluent areas were not so lucky, and largely lost value.
This is what Republicans mean when they say that they are for small, fiscally sound government.
Another familiar Republican tactic: Fucking things up and then blaming the Democrats who take over for the fallout.
John Cornyn’s latest line of attack: M. J. Hegar is too potty-mouthed to be acceptable to the delicate refined folk of Texas.
Lest we forget, Texas, and Gov. Abbott, still hates teh gays:
Mobile home park owner in Colorado tells his tenants that he will double their rent if Biden wins. He’s been referred to the state Attorney General for voter intimidation.

Hegar responds:
Giuliani says it was all just a “hit job.”
Well, he certainly ought to know all about hit jobs.

I wonder if he will stick to his promise to not raise rent for 2 years if Trump is reelected.

Hopefully (and apparently likely) we will never find out.
