NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

He is. Could you imagine, say, ever having a President like that?

“One of the first things school children in Texas learn is how to compose a simple declarative sentence without the word ‘shit’ in it.” - Unknown

A lesson at which, apparently, only a select few succeed. They keep passing them to higher grades anyway until they graduate (or not).

Avoid the … corrupt old liar, I guess.

True dat.

I just question how much I would trust the word of a $45 supporter.

Madison Cawthorn, the rising star golden boy of the Republican Party, says a critic of his worked for the benefit of “non-white males”. Just like Corey Booker.

Republicans are accusing Democratic Senate candidate from Arizona Mark Kelly of dressing as Hitler at a party several years ago. Every friend of his whom they contacted said it was not him, but they published the story anyway.

Fox minion blames his router failing on the Biden campaign.

^^ Obviously, it was Obama’s fault.

Desperation time. Coming soon, baby cannibalism, god murder, christmas hornets; projection - it’s a drug.

Lisa Murkowski pretended to be opposed to the nomination of Barrett this close to the election, but she’s going to vote for her anyway. What a surprise.

I’m seeing ads now accusing Kelly of ‘messing with our healthcare system’ and ‘costing hospitals billions’. It is to barf.

Yes, it’s terrible when politicians have a past history of dressing up in morally questionable costumes…

But tell us again about Mark Kelly, Republicans…

Ted Cruz is claiming that Individual 1 never promised to lower the deficit when he was running in 2016.
Ted Cruz Claims Trump Didn't Promise to Cut Federal Debt. Eliminating It Was Key Part of 2016 Campaign.?

“Lying Ted”, DJT called him repeatedly. Who knew that would be his only true statement for the next four years.

Am I evil?..

Going to the girls’ dormitory for “tricks” or “treats”?

Actually, I think that’s true. Trump never concerned himself with it. It was something for a later president to worry about.

From the 2016 Republican platform:
"The Republican path to fiscal sanity and
economic expansion begins with a constitutional
requirement for a federal balanced budget. We
will fight for Congress to adopt, and for the states
to ratify, a Balanced Budget Amendment which
imposes a cap limiting spending to the appropriate
historical average percentage of our nation’s gross
domestic product while requiring a super-majority
for any tax increase, with exceptions only for war
or legitimate emergencies. Only a constitutional
safeguard such as this can prevent deficits from
mounting to government default. "

Funny there’s no mention of that with a Republican White House and a Republican Senate, after the massive tax cuts.

In an interview with the Washington Post, in April 2016, Trump claimed that he would eliminate the whole of the national debt ($19 trillion at the time) in a period of 8 years.

While he never specifically talked about the deficit, basically the only way to eliminate that much debt would have been to run a surplus of over $2 trillion per year over the eight-year period, through some combination of spending cuts and revenue raising.
