“Near majority”. So a minority?
It’s Newsmax, don’t expect much in depth analysis.
“autographing the hate”
Still not seeing the typo.
(note previous winky face)
Caitlyn Jenner has been oddly anti-trans since day 1.
I think a big part of why “I Am Cait” was cancelled was because she was/is a Trump supporter. Some of the other people on the show with her even told her to knock it off with all the pro-trump rhetoric since it was hurting her own cause (and more so, it’s hurting the cause of all the people she’s representing due to her trans status and fame).
If [the generic] you remember, Trump even said that Caitlyn (not the trans community, he singled out ‘Caitlyn’) could use any bathroom she wants at a Trump property to which the rest of the trans community said ‘uh, what about us?’
Hell, she was at CPAC.
I only skimmed that article, but I want to note that I liked the line “She Deserves Dignity, But Not Power”.
This woman is another example of the genius found within the GOP.
What, does she think Election Day is spread out for a week, like on supermarket flyers?
”But the first day is BOGO day at Food Lion!”
I’m still confused. To me it looks like she’s saying the girls shouldn’t be scolded for having a transgirl in the locker room who hasn’t transitioned yet.
Or is she saying that the girls shouldn’t be scolded if they don’t want a pre-transition transgirl in the same locker room?
In the first case, no one should be scolded. I’m honestly not sure what to do about the second, unless it’s to give the transgirl some privacy. Learning to listen and not bully for differences should be in there somewhere. But scolding is not usually a good way to convince a kid of anything.
Aside: Why is no one ever worried when it’s a transman/transboy using the men’s locker room??
Because it’s really a girl getting free peeks at real boys’ junk. Peeks are okay, but not free peeks.
I could be making that up. Who knows?
Someone’s got to look up what was Caitlyn responding to.
But people blew the “dignity but not power” thing when they poured accolades on her as Ms Trans Standardbearer a few years back. Now she thinks she knows better than them.
A good bit longer than a week in states that have early voting, such as Arizona.
Probably the fact that she hasn’t gotten any attention in a while.
The story is out that allegedly anti-choice Herschel Walker paid for a girlfriend’s abortion (which is surprising in and of itself considering how many kids he has by how many women). He denied it, and threatened a lawsuit. But his equally crazy not-gay son was having none of it and went equally viral calling his father out as a liar.
It also says that Biden’s plan is discriminatory because it’s designed in part to help Black borrowers.
“But we’re totally not racist” - Republicans.
How do they have standing?
John Fetterman has a new campaign ad out likening Mehmet Oz to another famous “doctor”, and it is glorious.
Very, very nice.
(At a guess, Matt Groening and others with ownership interest in “The Simpsons” were happy to cooperate with this.)
The plot sickens:
Months before news broke alleging that Herschel Walker paid for an abortion, top Republicans in the state — including those advising his team — warned him that the story could torpedo his campaign.
Four people with knowledge of those preliminary discussions said that the abortion issue was well known within the state, even before reporters began inquiring about it…
