NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

It occurs to me we should just have a new thread every year, e.g., Stupid Republican Ideas of the Day, 2022. There can’t be more than 27 stupid Republican ideas per day, on average, can there?

Oh you sweet summer child…

All of that makes sense. But, as with all his other offenses, who is going to enforce it?

<Wipes away tears of laughter>

Good one! At the rate the Pubs are going… one has to ask, “How many minutes are there in a day?”

Not enough.

Come on – most stupid Republican ideas are just copies of existing stupid Republican ideas, only promoted by different people. There aren’t 27 original stupid Republican ideas every day! #truescotsman

Wow. That’s very deep. Must ponder.

Well, there are certainly a lot of GOPers going out of their way to say stupid things about the events in Ottawa. Here’s a couple of highlights:

I’ve been hearing that large numbers of Americans have mixed in with the Canadians and that there are big questions as to where the US dollars paying for it all are coming from.

It’s unclear how many Americans are actually involved, but people have been reporting at least some US plates on vehicles, and a lot of them are flying US flags like the “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, and Trump 2024 flags. I’m sure at least some of those are just stupid Canadians who don’t understand that we’re actually a separate country and all, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if some of them are also stupid Americans who also don’t understand that.

No race, creed or sexual orientation is immune to greed. Republicans say it’s OK to be greedy. Money talks, BS walks.

Possibly even fewer than that. According to my controversial research (they all called me mad! MAD!) it should be possible to derive a Republican stupidity field theory that unifies all Republican stupidity combining the individual fields of ignorance, tribalism, greed, and spite into a single theoretical framework.

There are still problems as regards to incorporating quantum Trumpism into stupidity structure, since an ego so large by necessity results in a level of density such that notions of objective truth in reality breaks down and collapses into quantum singularity of idiocity. But with proper funding from interested donors (in large stacks of unmarked 100 dollar bills) should be able to fully integrate them into a grand unified theory of stupidity.

We have, for starters at least, that the Republican Stupidity Field is complete, continuous, and infinitely dense. The Trumpian Quantum Singularity, however, remains a yet-incomprehensible paradox.

This shit’s too dense for me. Let me know when the cat and the box show up.

I believe The Great Orange Blob was averaging more than 30 lies a day leading up to the election. Yes, a lot of repetition but that’s what it takes to convert and feed the cult.

A comprehensive review of all lies/distortions/perversions by GQP office holders and wannabes would be cost prohibitive and possibly cruel and unusual punishment for even volunteers.

TLDR: We’re only scratching the surface here in this thread.

With global warming, the expression “tip of the iceberg” may one day be meaningless.

De Santis and Cruz are both big “trucker” convoy supporters.

Madison Cawthorn apparently thinks that the two Americans competing for China in the Olympics should have their citizenship revoked. He also thinks that they didn’t decide to compete for China until they got to Beijing, which isn’t true.

I can’t figure out how he can be this stupid. I mean, this is upper deck level stupidity. This is not just random “dude in a bar” stupid. This kind of stupidity takes an incredible amount of effort.

He must be puzzled about how turds keeps appearing in his pants daily.

The funniest thing about him whining to strip one of the athletes of her United States citizenship is that she already renounced it some time ago so she could represent Chcina in the Olympics.

Qon Johnson says he won’t fight to bring a USPS plant to his state because Wisconsin already has enough jobs.
