Didn’t stop Walker from running for Senate in Georgia…
Speaking of which, just how were the Republicans planning on getting around the little fact that Walker wasn’t/isn’t an inhabitant of Georgia?
No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.
I never heard anything about what they had planned.
Not sure, but I think the plan was for him to declare that he was indeed an inhabitant of the State of Georgia, and then to pay the income tax fines to Texas for improperly stating he was a Texas resident for tax purposes.
Alternatively, they would have argued the difference between “inhabitant” and “resident for tax purposes”
ETA: Or, they just would have ignored it, and went "We know that he is supposed to be an inhabitant of Georgia. But what if he wasn’t?"
After collecting it from the rubes donors first, of course.
The Biden White House is blocking a patriot from the Senate
Donate now to tell him to go to hell!!
Here’s the thing, though - AIUI the Senate makes its own rules about such things. Since even with Walker winning the Dems would still control things, they could just refuse to seat him. Of course, this would get appealed to the Supremes, and who knows what those luminaries would have decided. Seems like a mighty long shot to me.
In a sane world, her being part of that mob is the only thing that would have gotten her into that building.
Well, he did own a rental property somewhere in Georgia (the state, I think, not the country), so there is that vague connection.
Auto the rest of it:
“WE” did win, you utter bucket of hagfish mucus! That is to say, We, the citizens of the United States of America, won.
Unless you want us to count you as one of the insurrectionists. Just say the word, and I’m sure the DOJ will be right over with some nice bracelets (probably not the kind they sell at Target next to the sex toys, though).
This should get her expelled from congress.
You would think, right? But no, nothing changes… What is the non-MAGA right saying?
Target sells all kinds of dildoes and butt plugs, if you have a sense of adventure.
Seriously. And push her down the steps, bouncer style.
< crickets >
He’s on vacation.
<snort!>
I love you guys!
Paige, no.
South Carolina Congressman urged Mark Meadows to have Trump declare Marshall Law before Biden’s inauguration.
But it’s okay, because he sent the text message out of frustration.
He added: “I was very frustrated then, I’m frustrated now. I was frustrated then by what was going on in the Capitol. President Biden was in his basement the whole year. Dominion was raising all kinda questions.”
Time for Dominion to add him to the lawsuits. He just defamed them.
…and let’s not let him off the hook for relying on the delusional notion that Biden was “in his basement the whole year” as a basis for justifying his stupidity. Members of Congress really shouldn’t be basing policy on stupid conspiracy-based memes.
Do they even have basements in Delaware?
