Let the eat whole wheat cake.
That sounds disgusting.
Maybe that’s the point. If lawmakers restrict “them” to foodstuffs that are disgusting, they won’t eat and starve to death. Money saved, which can go to better uses (i.e., the lawmakers’ buddies).
Twitter keeps deleting, restoring, deleting, restoring, deleting George Santos’s account.
Maybe its his account in drag?
if that photo is him, at least he did Something right!
Noted homophobe and QAnon believer compares Damar Hamlin’s survival to aborted fetuses.
Crazy, but creative. smh.
Tennessee has announced that it will no longer take federal funds for the treatment of HIV.
I thought the plan was for him to fall down dead or resign for health reasons half way through his term. That way we could have our first Black Woman President which is what the libs really want afterall.
Check out the latest republican tractic to prevent same sex marriage:

Idaho StatesmanBOISE – A Republican state senator who vowed to protect “traditional” marriage plans to propose legislation that would eliminate marriage licenses in Idaho – a GOP tactic in other states to prevent same-sex marriages.
The proposal, which must be introduced by a legislative committee before it becomes a bill and is publicized, would eliminate licenses and instead direct officiants to issue marriage “certificates” following a ceremony between “two qualified people, a man and a woman,” said Sen. Scott Herndon, R-Sagle, in a Tuesday social media video.
House Minority Leader Ilana Rubel, D-Boise, said the proposal appears to codify that “there would only be marriage recognized between a man and a woman.”
Republicans in other states, including Alabama and Oklahoma, moved to stop issuing marriage licenses altogether after the U.S. Supreme Court in 2015 ruled the states must issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Yet again the Qliban just don’t get it. The reason the SCOTUS ordered them to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples seeking to marry is that those states require a license to get married. Removing the requirements for a license does not mean you get to overturn a SCOTUS decision all by your lonesome. The unconstitutional part of the new law is not in the lack of a license, but in the requirement that only heterosexual marriage can be solemnized in the state.
Note to brain: that is an L, not a D, in solemnized.
Bill Foster, Democratic rep from Illinois, holds a PhD from Harvard and has won a prestigious Physics award. Yesterday he trolled George Santos with a tweet:
Attention Republicans who want to protect “traditional” marriage: No one is threatening “traditional” marriage you intolerant fucking assholes. Fuckin useless Republicans.
From the linked article:
“The overwhelming majority of new HIV cases are among gay and bisexual men, transgender populations, heterosexual women, as well as people who inject drugs,” he said.
Well, duh, we want these groups to know that they are not welcome in the Great God-Fearing Christian White Normal State of Tennessee. And the ones in those groups who are here can leave.
Heterosexual women might be welcome-- some of them anyway. But we’re mighty par-tik-a-lar about which ones. Haveta screen them case-by-case.
I’m no expert on Tennessee demographics, but that looks like an insignificant minority comprised of ne’er-do-wells that make up a paltry greater than 50% of the population. No need to care for a disease that is only really being transmitted amongst such a timy sliver.
Did you mean Tennessee?
Yes. Yes I did.
So the chosen people are [checks notes] lesbians?

The Supreme Court: Okay, well now you have to issue marriage “certificates” to gay couples.
Sen. Scott Herndon: >surprised Pikachu face<

Fuckin useless Republicans.
