Maricopa county taxpayers are going to be paying for the water as well as paying Scottsdale to treat the water so that the Rio Verde freemen and women can have cheap water instead of paying their own share.
The thing that is really pissing everyone off is that Rio Verde has not just one, but TWO very nice golf courses with green grass and all the things golf courses traditionally come with including pretty lakes.
There ain’t nobody out this way happy about this…well, except the ones who are getting a quarter of the state to pay their water bills. Assholes.
