NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

This is genuinely disturbing.

These people are raising capital bigly, working hard to make the US de facto glibertarian Federalist.

President Adams was a Federalist. He does not seem to have much in common with these algae.

“You’re hurting the wrong people!”

No, “You’re not hurting the wrong people.”

How about making sex with anyone except yourself illegal?

ETA: That will simultaneously solve the overpopulation problem, the birth control problem, and the abortion problem. Also the dating problem.

I think Schlock Mercenary summed it up this way: MAXIM 21: “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Take his fish away and tell him he’s lucky just to be alive, and he’ll figure out how to catch another one for you to take tomorrow.”

George Santos is now being accused of running a card-skimming operation in 2017.

Quite a versatile fellow.

Unless there is additional corroborating evidence, I’m skeptical. Creating skimming devices doesn’t seem like Santos’ MO which was more along the lines of embezzlement and lying. Its likely this guy saw Santos in the news and thought that maybe he could get a better deal by claiming to have info on a high profile target.

Someone else lying about Santos? Knock that shit off before you implode the damn universe.

“Fill him with lead and that’s one less layabout gaming the system, living off of your taxes!”

I wholeheartedly agree. Santos isn’t capable of masterminding anything, let alone an operation like this.

I’d deny them on even more arbitrary grounds. Like “X-Box/PlayStation” or “tastes great/less filling.”

The Washington Post has an article about how Republican policies have ensured that the next pandemic will be even deadlier and more devastating than covid.

Are we allowed to submit older reports of Republican stupidity we’ve just discovered or only current events? Case in point: Special Report: Inside a Trump-era purge of military scientists at a legendary think tank | Reuters

If this was discussed before or doesn’t fit then I apologize.

A county in Northern California has terminated its contract with Dominion Voting Systems, a company that’s faced a barrage of election fraud conspiracy theories.

The controversial decision has now left the county without a way to conduct elections.

The county is Shasta County, which is small and rural and occupies the northernmost end of the Sacramento Valley. This deeply red part of a blue state has been embroiled in unproven claims of fraud since the 2020 election

Dominion needs to bump up the dollar amount in their defamation case against Fox News by the value of the contract.

Please tell us what you “know”, Mr Jones, that led you to terminate the contract with Dominion. And please speak clearly for the court record.

Well, heckfire, he masterminded a whole flock of Gops, and…oh, right.

Nevermind.
