Don’t any of these elected officials have anyone to guide them through there day? How do they find their offices? Tie there shoes?
To say nothing of commemorating traitors. I’m rather surprised there is no ‘YE-HAW’ in that declaration.
Maybe it’s an April Fools joke?
Probably not. Just a fool.
If April 31st, 2023, did exist, it wouldn’t have happened yet. I suspect he signed it on March 31st, and didn’t notice that the text said “April”.
Ron DeFascist has ordered the kidnapping of a 13-year-old whose mother is suing the state for wrongful termination.
I read that yesterday. IMO, this is the correct time to say “If they can come for me, they can come for you”.
I’d like to see a real news article. A one-sided twitter post smells funny.
While the article starts off with quoting Ms. Jones tweet, it finally gets into some factual reporting:
A spokesperson for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Thursday morning that Jones’ son had been arrested.
SRSO spokeswoman Jillian Durkin said the Sheriff’s Office had received reports of a threat from multiple students and that a felony warrant was issued following an investigation of the reports.
Durkin said Jones turned her son in to the Sheriff’s Office.
Obviously there isn’t much information here, certainly not enough for me to form any opinion. But the funny smell @Just_Asking_Questions noticed is beginning to dissipate a little.
And if you don’t remember the name:
Jones came to national prominence during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic after she was fired from her position with the Florida Department of Health. Jones said she was fired for speaking out about what she said was the state’s manipulation of COVID-19 data, while state officials said she was fired for insubordination.
Thanks!
OK, let’s see just what those “digital threats of terrorism” said. Betcha that none of them comes even close to the things Trump tweets every day with no consequence.
But then you’d have to compare the maturity level and well then you could get really confused.
This is the only example provided.
Can’t be a threat if it is true.
Republicans in Tennessee’s House of Representatives are voting to expel three Democrats for engaging in anti-gun protests, only a few days after the shooting at the Christian school.
I heard this on NPR. Paradoxically, these people are being accused of being insurrectionists. For being anti-gun. I guess if they were demonstrating FOR guns, they wouldn’t be insurrectionists?
So government officials are only allowed to attend pro-trump protests?
Elon/Twitter has decided that NPR is “State-Affiliated Media”.
They only expelled two of them, the two African Americans. The white one didn’t get expelled. It’s like they aren’t even trying to hide their racism anymore.
anymore?
Nor are they trying to hide it any less.
I watched Pearson on the stand (or whatever it’s called) last night. The dude is an orator. He argued circles around the GOP, pointing out several times that yes, he broke the house rules, but the punishment as set out in those same rules was censur, not expulsion.
