NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Tommy Tuberville fucked around and found out.

This delights me. I hate that ignorant fuckwit.

It’s pretty bad when you’re more insane than Ted Cruz.

To be fair, Ted Cruz isn’t insane.

He’s an opportunistic weasel who has few remaining principles and is open to the highest bidder. And caters to an insane base in an often vain attempt to get just a little more power and wealth for himself and perhaps get some people to actually like him or sympathize with him, but he is not himself insane.

Yeah, Cruz strikes me as a man with absolutely no scruples or morals, but he’s not crazy, just a giant scumbag.

Note to Ted and to the pastor there: You wanna know a cool way to tell if a book was written by god, or if it was written by humans claiming to speak for god? It’s easy. If god wrote it, it doesn’t apply to some group over here, or some other group over there. That’s the tell tale sign of humans. Hope this helps with your religious struggles.

Or at least one scruple, when his own children are involved. So, he barely clears the bar of being human. But, yes, a real scumbag all the same.

After he threw his wife under the bus in favor of Trump, I’m surprised this was enough.

Yeah, I’m a little surprised that was the line but credit where credit is due.

Note - he still tried to toss them under the bus when he ran off for a Mexico vacation while hundreds of his constituents were literally freezing to death a couple years ago.

So he’s not a complete amoral asshole. Just 99.99% of one.

Well, a wife is hardly a blood relative, amirite?

With Republicans I’d say it’s even money.

Argh. Good thing I wasn’t drinking anything!

Doesn’t his base hate the way he became a US citizen? They hate so much about citizenship laws, I long ago lost track.

If there are any military bases in Alabama, I think that plans should be announced to close them, especially in rural areas. I’ll bet Tuberville has a come to Jesus moment then.

There are five active bases in Alabama, including an Air Force base in Montgomery, about an hour’s drive from Auburn, where he used to coach.

I wonder how he would be treated by his constituents if all five military bases were threatened with closure.

Closing a military base is difficult, it basically requires an act of Congress. Tuberville is pretty safe from that.

Moving a particular unit from one base to another is easy by comparison, which is what seems to be happening here.

Huh. I thought that George was Jew-ish.

Hes actually quite entertaining.
