You don’t have to be Jewish to be upset about the blood libel, and you don’t have to be Catholic to be upset about a perceived attack on the Church.
Of course, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence actually seem to do a lot of the good work that Jesus explicitly calls for (like caring for the sick), so if I were still a practicing Catholic I don’t think I’d be offended.
I like to think he’d find Santos’s (and others) performative outrage more worthy of condemnation then the Sisters’ performances.
