He is now complaining about the “radical left, the establishment, and the media” trying to silence him. Somehow I doubt that anyone on the radical left, the moderate left, or even the wishy-washy left has the slightest interest in “silencing” his talk of Republican Cocaine Orgies…
That’s the way Cawthorn! Don’t let those radical lefties keep you silent! Keep on shouting to the rooftops about the Republican cocaine orgies, and every other corrupt and despicable thing you have seen Republican politicians do! Those lefties want you to remain quiet!
“Or the fact that some of the people leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country, and then you watch them do a key bump of cocaine right in front of you.” - Madison Cawthorn, bolding mine
A “key bump” you say. That’s not exactly a term that gets used in everyday conversation.
What is a “key bump” anyway? Sorry, I’m not a regular cocaine user (or orgy participant) so I’m not up on all the hip lingo the cool kids are using these days.
A federal judge has ruled some of Florida’s new voting laws are unconstitutional, and has ordered the state not to pass any more voting laws without getting judicial approval.
A state judge has ordered that the Wisconsin state Speaker of the Assembly and the Assembly itself be held in contempt for refusing to turn over documents associated with his claims that he was investigating the theft of the 2020 election.
Also, I recall seeing references to fathers promising to “cover” their daughters. Apparently (hopefully) they’re unaware that in the equine world the term means something … rather different.
I knew what the phrase meant immediately when I heard it in context because I’m familiar with using keys for this purpose. I’ve never spoken it or heard it spoken in my life before today.
The defense rested in the case where righties tried to kidnap and assassinate Governor Whitmer of Michigan. One of the defendants testified in his own defense, apparently not doing much good for himself. He called two others who had pled guilty liars, called the federal informant who turned them in a b----- (presumably bitch?), and said he never called Whitmer a tyrant, but then the prosecution played tapes of him making suggestions as to how to kill her.
Unfortunately, I expect the ruling to be quickly stayed and ultimately reversed by the Supreme Court, perhaps using it as a vehicle to do away with the remaining vestiges of federal voting rights protections.
