I mean, I don’t know how it was in your neck of the woods, but up here in the PNW gas shot up to the $5-6 range in spring 2022 after the Ukraine war started and it’s just now coming close to being back down to the $4 mark. Gas tends to be pricier up here because we’re furthest away from the refineries and pipelines in the lower 48.
I ride an e-bike these days, so fortunately it doesn’t affect my wallet except for when I have to take Uber home from work and the ride is now $22 instead of the $15 it used to be.
