And the senator’s official .gov website calls him “Ted.” I’ll bet that his stationery does as well. Both of those are paid for by government funds.

It is nowhere near that difficult. The Republicans are the polar opposite of complicated, and “what is worng with them” can be distilled down to about half a dozen primary vectors. One may look like an amaizing turd while another may seem to be a human shell animated by a swarm of rats, each a ratskin animated by cockroaches, but that is all just superficial. The underlying Republican malfunction is simple enough that even they could understand it.
