Meanwhile in Das Floridareich - “Hey, parents, there’s a measles outbreak in your kid’s school right now, but we’re not gonna TELL anyone to keep their sick kids home 'cause FREEDOM.”
The Freedum to harm others.
Yes, that’s what I was thinking of. If a fetus is an extra passenger, why not embryos?
Something is up at Mar-A-Lago. We have a newish dishwasher that works great. I installed new low-flush toilets that work great, I would say better than the 60 year old toilets they replaced that used many, many gallons of water each flush. We’ve had low-flow shower heads for many, many years and I’ve never had an issue cleaning myself.
Trump’s just jealous of showers because he has to wash himself with a rag on a stick.
(he hasn’t actually done that for years anyway, which is why he smells like a combination of armpit, ketchup, ass and makeup)
I’m guessing that is true.
Vought has promoted a restrictionist immigration agenda, saying a person’s background doesn’t define who can enter the U.S., but rather, citing Biblical teachings, whether that person “accept[ed] Israel’s God, laws and understanding of history.”
Riddle me this – what’s tan-colored, powdery, and sits on top of a table saw?
Why, cocaine, of course!
I saw that a while ago and started to post it (from here), but I have a feeling that even though the cocaine is actually sawdust, the “scale weighing grainy white rocks”, is probably, actually, crack.
Although its hard to tell, I’m not sure that that is the proper reading of that note. It does say that children who have measles symptoms should stay at home, and also that unvaccinated children are in danger and should stay home.
What it is not doing is shutting down the entire schools just because some enough dipshits didn’t get their kids basic preventative care that herd immunity failed. Vaccinated students can come to school or not come to school at their parents discretion.
Now they are making a mistake by not making it mandatory for unvaccinated kids to stay home, but given that its Florida, home of the Anti-Vax surgeon general, they would probably get their funding slashed for suggesting it.
Well, I believe that WAS the idiot SG writing the letter, and I read that 89% of the students in that school are un-vaxxed.
And? Is there a law against having a picture of grainy white rocks? Even if it was crack, is having a photo of crack admissible as evidence that you, at any time, even possessed crack?
What kind of shitty prosecutor would even enter garbage like this into evidence?
You’re right, I didn’t read the signature
Not that I doubt you, but do you have a cite for that? Because theoretically all students are supposed to be vaccinated against measles before they enter elementary school in Florida. I guess belonging to the MAGA death cult counts as a religious exemption.
A golden quote from one of Hunter Biden’s lawyers on the subject:
“Mistaking sawdust for cocaine sounds more like a storyline from one of the 1980s Police Academy comedies than what should be expected in a high-profile prosecution by the US Department of Justice,” the filing reads.
Oops–I got it backwards. Daily Beast My RO got the better of me. Apologies.
So 11% unvaccinated. Still way too high, but at least the crazies haven’t entirely overwhelmed the sane.
They shouldn’t make it mandatory for unvaccinated children to stay home. They should take those children away from their abusive parents, and put them in homes with foster or adoptive parents who will give their children basic medical necessities, so they can still go to school, and also not risk being killed by entirely preventable causes.
Not sure I’d go that far (not sure I wouldn’t), but I completely agree that parental discretion that is legally permitted should NOT include decisions that are objectively harmful to their children.
Because it’s a public school. If it had been a private “Christian” school, 89% unvaccinated would likely be correct.
I wondered what the hell that picture was! I thought it must be some in joke I didn’t get. Turns out, I was right.
