Yep. And more than that: assuming Trump gets in, what’s to stop him from issuing an Executive Order overturning the Thirteenth Amendment? It’s not as though Roberts’ Court would object in any way. Why shouldn’t Presidents be able to create or destroy Amendments as their fancy takes them?

Garbage like that is the reason I have taken to tuning out of most all social media in the immediate aftermath of breaking news events such as this. Twitter is now absolutely worthless in breaking news situations, where it was such a great resource prior to Elon taking over. I now mostly just sit and wait for credible news sources to report.

In the breaking news thread somebody posted that Trump is going to be very worried about appearing in public at rallies from now on. He is already terrified.
If I were a false flag type of person, I’d suspect his handlers of staging this so they have an excuse to keep Trump out of the public eye.

As much as I post tweets on this board, I don’t actually participate in Twitter at all. I barely ever tweet, my PFP is a cosplay from a midnight movie I went to in 2009, and there’s only about five accounts that I read on a daily basis. I’m just there to observe and see what’s going on out there in the maelstrom.

I know I’m not going to have the intestinal fortitude to watch any of the convention coverage live; I’ll only be able to handle clips shown on other shows. It’s going to be a combination of ALL HAIL SAINT TRUMP and WE MUST HAVE OUR GUNS READY FOR INEVITABLE DEMOCRAT-VIOLENCE AGAINT US (with plenty of ‘shoot first and ask questions later’ hints).
