For a guy who started a company called Palantir, it certainly sounds like Peter Thiel never actually read LOTR.
What annoyed me was, they didn’t explain the eclipse part! Self driving cars I can understand, they figure it’s woke leftists hating the American Dream of driving real fast. But how are eclipses a leftist plot?!??!!?
The dumbass lives in the same town as the Johnson Space Center. Way to support constituent interests!
The Missouri AG’s filing, oddly, fails to show the High Quality we all expect from good straight (presumably) white Christian males:
We deal with the “workface” and also with, apparently, the acknowledgement that some people fail to be “male or female” and are instead neither–see #164, where male + female adds up ONLY to 99.3% of the workface, er, workforce.
Very woke of the Missouri AG!
I started, but abandoned, a post where I mentioned that the guy Missouri’s AG beat for the job was this guy:
I saw him interviewed numerous times. He’s definitely a MAGA POS. I had to wonder if that tended to make the guy that he lost to more of or less of a fuckplace than Scharf.
This helps.
So … y’know … thanks for that
Chip Roy explains that the Founding Fathers rebelled against Britain because they were sick of elected legislators representing the will of the people, and that’s why they placed all governmental authority in the hands of a single individual who was above the law.
So now we have the whale butcher as accomplice to the destruction of the federal government. Mitch was the sole vote against as a token (fair and balanced) gesture🙄. Screw you Mitch. You could have twisted a few arms at the 2nd impeachment trial and Mago man would be in jail instead stomping on the throat of democracy (hyperbole?, you decide). Trying for a last gasp of character? I’ll read your obit with relish now that you’ve come down with Feinsteinium
Professor Lysenko wants to tax marijuana and use the money to force Prozac users to live on kibbutzes.
This is as far as I got:
Kennedy described opioid, antidepressant, and ADHD “addicts” receiving treatment on tech-free “wellness farms,” where they would spend as much as three or four years growing organic produce.
At least somebody’s playing heads-up ball. They’ve finally figured out what happens when they deport a huge supply of extremely hard working, low-wage labor.
Ah. Won’t it be grand to have our own cohort of Uyghurs kept in lovely, pastoral concentration camps?
I mean, taking city-dwellers and forcing them to grow crops with no tech or experience has never gone wrong before, right?
Whatever cemetery accepts him would do well to build a pissoir over the grave. I know I’m looking forward to making a pilgrimage.
So was I, until my wife reminded me how much I hate standing in lines.
So how’s RFK gonna tax a product that’s federally illegal? At the state level, where cannabis is legal to some degree in most places, there are a lot of taxes and fees levied by state governments. But federally it is still Schedule I, meaning (among other things) banks generally can’t operate with cannabis businesses and there’s no selling products across state lines. So how, exactly, does he plan to tax it?
Let’s try taxing underground sales of cocaine and meth first and see how that works out. I am sure both sellers and buyers will be happy to cooperate (sarcasm).
This whole administration thinks “illegal” refers to a sick bird.
Or someone who looks like they might be from Mexico.
It’s not a term they consider in any of their own actions at any rate.
That article links to their source an NPR article that goes into more detail.
The National Science Foundation was mandated by Congress in the 90’s to include in all grant application assessments how those projects reach out to underincluded demographics. DEI in a nutshell.
The eclipse research grant was to link up students not in the path of totality with those in totality to provide a joint experience. Nothing there at all about marxism or about “white males suck”.
A lot of other noted grants on Cruz’s list use methodology of people going out to their local community to gather information. Others use an element of involving groups who historically have had low science participation to perform some of the data collection and observation, encouraging them to see themselves as being capable of being scientists.
That’s where Cruz is getting his anti-DEI connection. His Marxist social agenda item is the figment of the imagination of a Cuban refugee and self-aggrandizing putz aspiring to be the biggest asshole in the world. Our at least Texas, same thing.
Pete Hegseth: Underpays his taxes by $33,000 and gets a letter from the IRS last week informing him he’s being audited
Also Pete Hegseth: How could Joe Biden do this?
I have to object to claiming that the biggest asshole in Texas is the same as the biggest asshole in the world. It’s my understanding that Elon lives in California.
Hey, with the DeJoy postal service, that letter probably was sent during Biden’s administration.
