NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 3)

I say he aspired to the title, not that he won the title.

I thought he built a compound in Texas outside Austin.

I’ve heard he’s built some compounds for his workers, but I don’t know about him personally. If he does live in Texas now, then I withdraw my objection.

Might as well post a picture of yourself giving Oranganus a bj.

:rage:
Dear gawd. My small county agency already gets June 14th off as Flag Day. If they add trump to it I think I will just go to work anyways in protest and take the next day off.

Just take off Juneteenth which is a real holiday celebrating something that’s actually historically important.

Yes! Good idea!

Doug “Trump BJ In PA” Mastriano wants to set up a Keystone State version of DOGE. There’s not a chance in hell of it becoming real, but that doesn’t matter.

Shit, Kansas is way ahead of PA. The KS Senate already formed a committee called Committee on Government Efficiency, and they have their very own portal where Kansans can submit ideas on how ‘government could be improved to better serve the public’.

Fire every Republican?

The CEO of GameStop says it’s fault of WOKE that his technologically obsolete company is going out of business in Canada.

The others are vague enough, but was someone forcing him to hire “DEI”?

Translation: It’s not my fault as one of an overpopulation of overconfident mediocre dudebros who got just lucky enough to be considered a self-made success despite much evidence to the contrary. It is unthinkable that I’m involved in any sort of failure and I can’t parse it can in any way be attributed to me

Trump has come up with a brilliant genius idea to fight illegal drugs, a big beautiful idea that nobody has ever thought of before.

And that plan is…

(Drumroll please)

…A TV AD CAMPAIGN TELLING KIDS TO SAY NO TO DRUGS.

This may be (D.A.R.E I say it?) the greatest idea anyone has ever had

Likely not. Canadian employment law (actually Ontarian, in this case) is very different from American employment law, especially when it comes to hiring. Specifically, at the application stage, employers are not allowed to ask applicants about many things that might play a role in a hiring decision: sex, age, race, specifics of criminal records, etc. That pretty much means the most qualified applicants get an interview, where some of those things can be generally ascertained, but the interviewer is not allowed to ask specifics.

Given that, I’d imagine that Cohen is basically interpreting Ontario’s employment law as preventing white males from getting jobs, thus it is DEI.

I don’t know; “Don’t use drugs or you’ll end up like Donald Trump” might scare some kids sober.

My mind is blown! If only someone came up with that plan in the 80s, I might not’ve smoked so much pot and dabbled in other stuff. What would be really convincing is if you seize drug dealers sports cars and paint them in splashy ways and bring those into schools to show the downfalls of drugs.

“Reefer Madness II, Now with Zombies”.

“They come for straight, white males. Run away, run away”

Soundtrack by Ted Nugent

What is “they” referring to here, reefer or zombies? That could have a big impact on whether I run or not. Also, if it’s the shambling-type zombies, I don’t need an answer fast.

Nice.
