I’m gonna put in a good word for John Mace. I’ve been running into him a lot in GD, where he and I are usually on opposing sides of assorted issues. He’s an honest debater, I like his style, and I’m hoping he stays around.
I don’t know how new Ice Wolf is, but if he isn’t new I’ve only recently noticed him.

I’d also add tag, for being the best flirt I’ve run across, here. I think she’s a newbie. And, I’m sure there are others, but unless I notice their post count is under, say, 50, I don’t think of them as newbies. Heck, I’m still a newbie, and look at my post count.

Thanks for the compliments! To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever really been flamed on the SDMB. A decade on usenet may have immunized me though.
I’d also like to second RTFirefly’s appreciation of John Mace. Although, like RT, I am often on the other side of the arguement I appreciate the good faith he displays. It is a refreshing change from the dishonest debating tactics of some of our resident idealogues. Hey, John, here’s to ya!
