He’s an average NFL QB.
After you have been replaced you get called in unexpectedly and start 8 of 11/106/1? Good on ya.
Through 1.5 games, Burrows just looks like he forgot how to football.
His Oline is a huge problem.
Nice Lions win, though after racking up a 22-0 lead at the half they, in typical Lions fashion, let Washington get back to within one score in the third before finally getting back on track toward the end of that third quarter. Even when the Lions manage what looks like a comfortable lead in the first half they always seem to turn it into a nail biter.
Crazy stat an announcer mentioned- this is the first time the Lions have had 3 consecutive 35+ point games since the 1950s. Really? Though, I don’t feel like stats that straddle seasons should really count. Too much changes from season to season. Their last game of last season was against the Packers, who had already clinched the playoffs and were resting their starters.
I love how all it took was one half of very good play for the talking heads (Im looking at you Phil Simms) to declare Tua the next great QB.
Seriously, though, what happened to the Ravens defense? Is that not a thing anymore?
I think Seattle is being who most people expected they would be this season. (I include myself, a lifelong Seahawks fan.)
Luckily, I’m not at all disappointed. The Denver game was a pleasant surprise. Getting destroyed by San Fran’s backup QB is just, of course they are.
(To be fair, Jimmy is probably the best backup in the NFL and should have been their starter.)
Rams were comfortably beating the Falcons, now its LA 31 Atlanta 25 with about 3 mins to go, Atlanta ball.
Mark Sanchez is still awful.
Rams take a deliberate safety to burn time off the clock.
This has been such a strange ending to a game. And enjoyable because of it!
Cincinnati converted on fourth down, now they’re knocking at the door….
Tie game with the 2-point conversion!
Ugh, Cowboys. Still, good for Cooper Rush.
I just watched all 36 goal line attempts by the Cardinals.
Holy shit, AZ tied it on a two-pt conversion as well! This has been a hell of a day for crazy endings.
Rams hold on the win, but it was not a performance that screamed “defending Super Bowl champs”
Lot of bonkers games this week, like, historically bonkers.
Insane finish.
Well that Packer game was about what I expected this week. Good to see the run game featured and a slightly healthier Oline. Defense got gashed too frequently in the run game, which isn’t geeat. But that win was needed.
