We have not heard from the bouncer…
[/QUOTE]
Hey, neither did the cops! But yes, I only saw her before (not drunk) and after the event (visibly upset). A friend of hers and a casual acquaintance witnessed the incident and decided to call the cops.
A friend of a friend knows the bouncer and apparently his memory of the altercation is very, very different from hers. Or, you know, he’s making shit up. He also hinted he’d make her work life hell if she tries to press charges. She’s dropping it, to the chagrin of the witnesses, but she did confess she’s got a bit more empathy now for victims of he said/(s)he said crimes, especially rape (I actually mentioned this thread to her).

I’m very grateful to the guy who helped me out that he didn’t escalate things by picking a fight with the creep.

Amen. It sounds like he handled this perfectly, giving you the space you needed without making the situation worse. Someone should buy him a drink.

Unless the female patron in question was actually being drunk and unruly and had to be removed by force.
We only have Cat Fight’s version of events, which do not include whether or not Cat Fight was actually there, and which in any regard are only one side of the events. We have not heard from the bouncer or any other witness to the events.
Hard to call it a ‘blatant miscarriage of justice’ from this re-telling.

Well, that’s true as well (a lawyer could more accurately inform her of how it would go than I).
I just assumed that Cat Fight was being honest.
