We had a good meeting with our financial guy and our future looks reasonable. So yay!
I just ordered pizza - **FCD **wanted Pepperoni, Bacon, Anchovies, and Green Peppers. ICK! Mine will be better.

Grrrr, I’m bored. I hate having to get somewhere ridiculously early & sit & twiddle my thumbs but got here (over) an hour early. Bored, bored, bored! Can we start pomping & circumstancing already?
Outside Cat Adam is a Very Good Cat. I came back from the park this afternoon to find a chipmunk corpse next to my parking spot. We’ve been telling Adam to get the strawberry-stealing chipmunk in the garden and he finally did. He got many skritches and cat treats for being a vicious killer.
It’s been gloomy all day. Boring too.
Supposed to rain tomorrow, and the temps will be cool. Until Monday when the sun is supposed to come out and and the temps are supposed to shoot up into the 90s.
Guess maybe then summer will start.
It’s been a lazy day but I managed to get 2 loads of laundry done and another item checked off the list. Irk is slow this evening and I hate that, I feel like I’m wasting time.
I had ravioli for lunch and I’m stuffed. I’ll make tacos later for Sah-son and maybe a piece of chicken for me.
I don’t know what is up with the cat, he’s eating, drinking, and stinking up the litter box, but he’s not being a pest.

swampy, I introduced an old boyfriend to the yumminess that is shrimp and grits. He asked for the recipe when we went our separate ways. 
It was a slow day, so I (finally) got a few things caught up. I am working on the sketch for my friend’s birthday card this evening and will commence construction tomorrow evening.

When I left trying to outrun a thunderboomer squall network still not fixed. Found out the motherboard was bad on old laptop and took new laptop hosting windows 10 :shudder: to transfer my data. All of it. It is ready and the charge is 79$. Now would I have died without spending $79 of my own dollars on a machine that lives at irk and is used 99% for irk? Maybe. Basterds owe me.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 65 Amurrkin out and partly cloudy with a predicted high of 83 and N.O.S. for the day. I shall achieve mowage today. Really. I will. I must. The rain stopped durin’ the afternoon yestiddy so I should be able to get out around eightish this mornin’ to get started. At least the temp and the humidity is down so there’s that. Temps will warm back to the high 80s and low 90s this weekend and next week so real Summer will return.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I shall brush my teeth and shave and get on with the bidness of mowage. Really. I will. I shall. I must.

At my last pre-retirement job, they specified that badges had to be worn above the waist. I just did the lanyard around the neck deal, but some guys clipped them to shirt pockets or collars.
Tomorrow I have to mow, because company picnic is Saturday and summer is due for Sunday. In fact, we’re promised 90s for at least a week, starting Sunday. Alas, windows will have to be closed and a/c will be turned on. Stoopit summer. 
But for today, it will be pleasant, for all the good that does me, being stuck in the office and all. My life is so hard!!! <pose of woe>

Votin’ day here. It’s very wet and very windy, but I should go drag myself outside.
Wondering if I should then go buy some booze for tomorrow, probably sorrow drownin’ style rather than celebratory.

Voting day, indeed, although I had a postal ballot so I voted a week ago and have been cheerfully telling this to the guys handing out various leaflets on my commute to work that it’s too late to influence me.
Other than that, I am up and sheveled, and irked in my irkplace. I have a bunch of reports to run but can’t do them because we haven’t yet got all the info to do them properly. I might just run them, throw them at the exams officers and tell them to fix it.
Is wet, windy and more like autumn than summer. I want to go home, but I can’t yet and then I have to do grocery shopping which I also don’t want to do. I may have to buy wine. And drink wine.
I have never before seen a lascivious look on a child.
Mowing day today. Been lazy all week, but the grass is growing way faster than it needs to (yeah, I’m blaming nature, so what…) and I need to get to it today. Also putting the trash out for collection.
Otherwise just another beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Mowage is completed and I am all cleanded up and presentable for the public. Go Me! I shall reward myself for a job well done by goin’ to the bar up the road and around the corner for a burger and a beer. I deserve a treat.
Not sure the others sitting around me, most of whom I know, would appreciate wood shavings flying onto their clothes & into their hair.
One woman behind me brought whistle spaghetti; I think it was six whistles whose lanyards were all entangled. Once they finally got them freed, the whistles sucked. (looked like a six pack from the dollar sto’). With all the cowbells that I have (adorned with various sponsor logos from various races), I didn’t even think to take [del]some[/del] one.
