We did Bad Chinese for supper. As soon as we got home, I finally cleaned the inside of the windshield in the Sonata. We’ll see how well I did when the sun hits it tomorrow.
Chillage for the rest of the evening. It was a good day. 
Ginger ale, vodka and lime juice is da Moscow Mule. 
Waiting for wifey to contact me. We’re going for Mexican tonight at one of the actual Mexican places in town.
I treated the Volvo to a wash n’ wax and a set of new wipers. Making Rainbow trout with rice and mushrooms, and garlic green beans.
Hell week is over. I knocked off around 3, picked up some groceries and came home to walk my pup. After a glass of tea, we sturck out for Popeye’s for some supper. Burrrrrp!
We met with my son’s principal today and hope we have a good plan in place to prevent the bullying that happened to him last year. The meeting went well. It’s just so frustrating being a parent some times, when your kids are at risk and you can’t follow them around with, say, your large new dog and look menacing. Sigh.
Other than that, not much went on today.

I lost the thread but consider us not there. One thing and another and it just isn’t happening this time around. 
JDD got a call from the nursin’ home. Looks like the end may be near for Mr. Frank. 
Part of me wants to be there but it’s probably for the best I’m not. If this is indeed the time I know that a lot has to happen with hospice, the funeral home etc and extra people don’t make it any better. It was a long evenin’ of it when mom died so I know what of I speak.

After multiple email conversations for the past 38 mins, I’m going back to sleep.

I’m up and waiting for it to get light enough out so I can go running without falling on my face on the uneven sidewalks. RT is home and still in bed. I woke up early because of the stinging in my arm from when an unfriendly neighborhood yellow jacket stung me the other day.
I’m not sure what we’re doing today other than I have to do some work for school at some point this weekend.

I woke with a crampy belly, due, I’m sure, to Bad Chinese last night. Not bad enough to keep me home, but decidedly uncomfortable. I don’t know why we keep going there.
Today’s plans:

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 75 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 91 and partly N.O.S. for the day with the ever present chance of rain.
Mr. Frank died last night. JDD, JDD Sis, Mr. Frank’s Sister and JDD Partner were there. JDD said hospice got there fairly quick to make the official call and the funeral home was there shortly thereafter. The good thing about a small town is stuff can happen quick. No idea on arrangements yet, but family is all fairly close by so looks like maybe graveside Tuesday.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I shall purtify and see what the day brings. I was goin’ over to the church house to help with inventory this mornin’ but I really don’t feel like that right now. Mayhaps I will go to the sto’ and get a nice roast or sump’n and make N.O.L. for the family tomorrow.

0945–Coach 10U girls soccer (both games have no referees, so I may have to)
1145–Coach 6U Girls
1430–Referee game about 15 miles away

swampy, my sympathies to you and JDD & family. It’s never easy to lose a parent, but what a blessing that it was quick and not lingering.
**MetalMouse **- part of the reason I picked the venue I did was memories of rain… Of course, it’s going to be a loverly day, but I didn’t know that when I planned this. I’m calling it a win.
OK, time to get motivated and moving. Things to do and not a lot of time before I have to hit the road!!
All righty. I’m showered and dressed. My tote is packed and ready. I emptied and refilled the dishwasher, I cleaned and refilled the critters’ fountain. I even picked out a little something to give to BooFae, in the hopes that it will fit in her luggage.
I’ll leave the house in about half an hour, stop enroute to drop off my library books, then off to Branch Ave Metro. Oooops - I need to throw together a sammich - that’ll take all of a minute. This will be a picnic, after all. And I should probably grab my camera.

I’m up and caffeinating. Nelson has been fed (as have I), walked (same) and a rousing game of fetch the MooCow played (MooCow is now a double amputee, so no more tug of war. But the squeaky still lives! 
). I may take the little guy to the lake today. Afterward, I may put him in [del]puppy jail[/del] his crate so that I can take a ride.
