I see a bunch of posters getting increasingly exasperated while their target laughs at them, turns their insults against them, and just generally seems to be having a great time tweaking their noses. You think anyone here cares about arguments? Please. This thread was created to rip on octopus and on that score it’s a miserable failure. At least half the people who’ve taken it upon themselves to “bring him down” have been reduced to various stages of online meltdown. Drunky Smurf has gone off the deep end, fervour seems to be literally losing his mind, Mr Dibble is coming off as just another mean spirited internet bully, and what’s octopus doing? I was under the impression that the goal of a troll is to make other people angry. If you get angry because of the troll, it doesn’t necessarily mean you lost, but it does mean that they won - they achieved their goal and are presumably happy about that. (octopus is visibly happy with is performance in this thread.)

Actually I think the goal was to get octopus to stop posting on other threads. As I’m personally capable of maintaining heavy communication in at least a dozen threads at once I’m not sure how getting him to post in here would have much of an effect on that front at all.
