Well crap. Whoever started this thread neglected to tell the mods to put an [Old] on the title of last week’s thread. So I replied there this evening, while being a bit confused that only two folks have posted all of today. Oops.
The fact I have good no idea what day of the week it is and haven’t since I graduated college mumble years ago doesn’t help.

As days go, it was pretty typical. Like a duck, massive and occasionally frantic paddling below the waterline is necessary to give the appearance of serene progress above the waterline. Y’all are the beneficiaries of far more paddling than you know.

A chunk-o-change will depart my checking account on Tues to make up for certain shortfalls in our withholding in 2022. Ouch. The three returns I had to file for 2022 were done in late Feb with the walletectomy scheduled for the last possible day.
