[Old] Lets have a healthy breakfast in the MMP

I’ve never been a breakfast person (much to my bariatric nutritionist’s frustration). Each morning I just have a coffee protein shake: I add ~8 oz of cold brew concentrate to an 11.5-oz vanilla Fairlife shake. That said, for some reason this morning I ate a banana before having my shake! Usually, eating so soon after waking up wouldn’t sit well with me; this time it was alright. And it didn’t make me not hungry for lunch at a reasonable lunchtime, which also tends to happen if I eat breakfast. I might try having a banana again tomorrow, because the nutritionist really wants me to eat something in the mornings.

Turns out a friend recorded part of me singing “All My Tomorrows” on Saturday night! She sent me the video file, and I used a (terrific) program called Audacity to make an MP3. The conversion introduced a little static that I can’t seem to get rid of without affecting the overall sound quality, but it’s pretty listen-able. So, for those who are interested, you can hear about a minute of me singing here. It starts right before the bridge (the middle part), and stops before the trumpet solo.

Here is my LEGO Eiffel Tower, which I built yesterday evening:

Where it says “La tour Eiffel,” on the other side (of the whole thing) is another label that says “The Eiffel Tower.” I was supposed to use only one of the label bricks: they provided a blank one for the other side, but I decided to use both of them (since I know un peu de français). I’ll just turn the build around from time to time.

Thanks for the tip! Luckily, I’m not looking to make this an actual hobby: I only bought the Eiffel Tower (six years ago) because of going to Paris, and the jazz quartet and jazz club are because I’m a jazz singer. When I’m ready to get the jazz club, though, my “nephew” has offered to let me use his VIP discount.
