That was insane even for us. There was extra volume in the building today, because not everything got delivered Saturday and Monday due to safety reasons(Dude I hope you enjoy the slush sled you got today), some drivers didn’t make it it, so those routes didn’t go out plus everything that came in, . So Dispatch did a lot of add/cuts. My one car had over 100 cuts. Which was fun, because 1. Most of the Sumitomo stop was cut but not all
, so 1. I had to check every package. 2. The loading style of the beings that loaded my set on Saturday/Monday could be best described as “An attempt was made”. 3. The Rear Door Left(the Sumitomo stop) was all over the palce, and stuff was mixed in everywhere. And while I’m looking at labels, the cages were filling up. Plus they kept havin o stop the recycle belt because Primary Sort was overwhelmed. So I had the choice of 1. Trying to load load even more stuff around the cut stuff. 2. Stacking the cut stops on the Belt, so I couldn’t reach my cages. I was briefly considering quitting and becoming a stripper, when I got sent over to the Mez. Because the Clerk who works the Mez didn’t come in, and it took 2 hours for TPTB to realize. Bonus on that was there was a bunch of stuff that should have gone to Garner(Building Code 2768) mixed in with our stuff(building code 2769), so we had to deal with that. Plus the 300 Boxline didn’t pull their add/cuts till after they shut down all the belts. So the drivers left after 10, there’s even more left behind stuff, The Supreme Screaming Officer was screaming over the radio, and we’re starting at 0230 tomorrow.
I filled the vermin feeder when I came home, because Onan had pushed it over, popped the top off, and hoovered 3/4 of the seed.
I run the dishwasher about once a week, basically when I run out of plates.
