Damnit. I just did it again. Tried to directly engage on LK’s current thread and he goes off on a tangent about how any men who support feminist are doomed to the “friendzone”.
I am banging my head against all available hard services.
I was about to click submit on a throwaway comment about how I’m a feminist man who gets laid on the regular because I’m not an insufferable stunted asshole…and then managed to think again and walked away from it. LinusK is not worth trying to engage, and not worth needling, and quite frankly only worth putting on ignore.
And everyone who has a PhD knows that someone else having one doesn’t tell you much other than that he didn’t have anything better to do for five or so years. It can be motivating when you’re en route to see all the idiots who made it through before you.
I watched that Karen Straughan video. I honestly do not understand why I wasted the time. Are we supposed to say “Hey, this woman has a lot of valid points about how sometimes women are bitches, especially this one woman who was not a feminist, and now I know that my own thoughts, feelings, and experiences as a feminist are totally proven incorrect!”
Yep. Now that FX is gone, LinusK is our reigning king. Remember his entire current thread is based on an “astroturfed” group created by a PR group associated with the MRA. And he’s still quoting them as if they’re real.
I dub him the trollking. Asshat is also acceptable.
I think LK must post comments somewhere else pulling in new MRA recruits. We’ve got a new one today blathering about the “Patriarchy”, and something about being an atheist about feminism. :dubious: This should be interesting.
Very bad form, to change someone’s post in a quote box without indicating your changes. Granted, it’s about as minor as a change could be, but it establishes you as a deceitful and untrustworthy poster. Tut tut.
