And that’s gouda, not gauda. I’ve known gouda since I was in the 4th standard. There is, I believe, one more from Bombay called Jukeball. So, 1 in 4… but that’s still a neat strike rate.

Ever since I read this a few days ago in this thread, I’ve tried to mentally pronounce it ex-ash. I’ve really tried.
I give up. From the first time I saw your name it was “sash”. I’m too much of an old dog to change my ways. Forgive me, but this humble doper will continue to hear “sash” in my brain everytime I see your username.
