Recently, I donated blood and answered a questionnaire at home beforehand as usual. After the normal questionnaire, there were several questions related to a research study the organization (Vitalant) is participating in. They made it clear that the research-related questions were optional and that declining to answer them would not affect my eligibility to donate. One of the questions asked about multivitamins and iron supplements. I answered that I take a multivitamin with iron. The next question asked how often I take it. The possible answers included “1-3 days a week” and “4-6 days a week”. I take it every other days (so some weeks 3 days and some weeks 4 days) so I had to decide between those two answers. If you had been in my position, which one would you have picked?
What I did and why: I chose “1-3 days a week”. My thinking was that I might miss a day here and there so my average would be closer to 3 than to 4.
“Technically March” is stupid because it is either March or not March, end of discussion.
“Technically March” is stupid because no technology is involved with March.
“Technically March” could be appropriate in certain circumstances, say, March 31 just before midnight, or after midnight if you are on a flight to Hawaii, and it will be before midnight when you land.
“Technically March” can be used to be amusing, sardonic, or sarcastic.
“Technically March” can be used in pedantic situations, e.g., your boss says you need to close out March by Friday, and you remind her that Monday is still technically March.

Do you think anyone, anyone, in the Current Federal Government gives a flying fig about massive crowds blocking all the bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area this Saturday?
No. Current Fed Gov is too stupid to be aware of anything like this.
No. Current Fed Gov doesn’t care about anyone besides themselves.
No. San Francisco area is rife with liberals, so the current Fed Gov doesn’t care, maybe won’t even notice.
Kinda: they’ll think it is hilarious!
No. The only people who will care are the 1 million people who can’t get to their daughter’s birthday party, or the concert they spent $100/ticket for, etc.
