I have never heard of these. Sounds amazing yummy. Don’t have any dough in a tube here, but I’ve seen par-baked croissants, so maybe I’ll try that.
A lot of people don’t like the taste of buckwheat. My mother will tolerate buckwheat pancakes, but much prefers pancakes without buckwheat. I had bought her some buckwheat honey, and she didn’t like it at all. My dad was happy to help out.
I like buckwheat and always have some buckwheat flour on hand.
Found a wholegrain version which also has buckwheat, but it’s not gluten free:
