It’s freezing cold out - past freezing, actually - but I have to venture out and get my bus pass renewed.
A Google Search of “windows computer migration tool” found a number of answers, including some that allow you to go from PC to Mac. Mac to Mac has long been available and includes the firewire method described above.
Answer is you are likely to get the majority of the move done automatically and the final bits will have to be done by hand.

I’ve had a very frustrating week capped off by the bill for my PT coming in the mail. I am officially frittering away my evening.
Spaz I am also fritterin’ away the evenin’. OYKW is havin’ a tub soak whilst I fritter.
Supper was yum! Baked cod - rapidly becoming my favorite fish, corn, and leftover N.O.T.s, plus 'nanner bread. A very pale dinner, but tasty.
I have 2 more bunnehs to finish stuffing, then I’ll tie ribbons around their necks. Tomorrow, I’ll take pics, even tho I don’t have Easter grass for the baskets.
Dunno how I’ll waste the rest of the night - maybe I’ll make a shawl.
