My first thread was an MMP as well – this one in 2010 after I had been around for like 3 years as a member and longer as a lurker
Since then I’ve started 13 more threads in a total of 3,912 posts.
And thank God the software kept track because I couldn’t have even guessed.
Unless there are sharks or mutant gators in the snow, I don’t care. 
I had known about the Dope and the SDMB (AOL version) for ages but had only been a reader. Until some stuff came up about Zombie Walks right around when we were gearing up for the first serious Worlds Record attempt at Monroeville Mall. Someone said something not quite right and I registered and jumped in. The rest is history and approaching 4000 posts.
Methinks I smell a volunteer. SWAMPYKINS – CALL THE VOTE!!!
No snow today, but it did monsoon at 0730. of course we got the first shipment of waterguns in last week:smack:,so it’s gonna snow here in the next couple of weeks.

The snow isn’t too bad here; it was fun on the unplowed road coming home last night.
I hope it improves by Thursday; I need 2 teeth pulled in Pittsburgh. I’m glad that I’m used to Pitt driving again, having a GF in Lawrenceville is a good enough reason to go there.

Back from Phoenix yesterday. First day back at work after a week off holding the grandbaby. She went from seven weeks old to eight weeks old while I was there. And the weather was better.

It would appear that shoe, and red have both volunteered for successive weeks, with shoe startin’ next week, and red the followin’ week. Shall we put it to a vote or just acclaim by proclamation?

We went straight past French toast to filet of Portuguese Sweet Bread this AM. Snow started, 18" to 24+" expected. UPS’s and battery packs charged.
If it reanimates, is it a zom-bee?
Just checked my fave weather site. They’re now saying maybe an inch of snow tonight. From the looks of the radar, we’ll be getting rain for a while. Yay!
I’ve got 2 loaves of 'nanner bread in the oven - it’s smelling yum in here! I’ve finished 11 baskets (except for attaching some of the handles) and I’m halfway thru the 12th and final basket. Tomorrow will be bunny-making day - I’ll make 24 of them. Pics when all are done.

It’s starting to snow down here. It might actually stick. This makes me happy. I don’t have to drive to irk in it tomorrow, either (last vacation day). This also makes me happy.
