We have no snow, no rain, no nuffink apart from cold and grey skies. There is a possibility we might get some snow later in the week but of course it only takes a millimetre or two of the white stuff to bring the entire country to a halt and cause widespread panic. Luckily I have plenty of TP in the house and the cats have a spare bag of cat litter, so we can withstand at least 25mm on the white stuff.

Near as I can tell, we have *maybe *an inch on the cold surfaces, like the railing and the shed roof. Parts of the driveway that I can make out in the gloom are white, but the monster puddle is there and dark. When I let Higgs out, teensy-tiny flakelets were still falling, but I think it’s the end of precip. It’s below freezing, and we might creep a few degrees above that mark before the day is over. I don’t have to go anywhere, and can’t anyway since I’m without a vehicle and nothing is within walking distance (no, I wouldn’t go 3 miles to WaWa and the dollar store) so I don’t much care what it’s doing out there.
**FCD **is off to work. The dishwasher is washing dishes, except for the few that wouldn’t fit, and those are on the drying rack. I’ve had some 'nanner bread for breakfast. All of the critters have been fed. I’ll haul the laundry downstairs and maybe do a load or two - it’ll be a few days before I can hang anything out, forcing me to use the dryer, alas! I’m going to do a load with the afghan and lap robes so I can get them bagged up and out of the way.
Last night, I figured out how to make the little bunnehs for the baskets. Yay! I’ve got to put contrasting trim on a few more baskets, then I’ll start making bunnehs. I’ve got enough time, I might even make some chicks or ducks. We shall see.

Outside of the Scottish Highlands, we are not prepared for snow at all. Not even when we know it might be coming. I, on the other hand, have a stock of TP so I consider myself prepared for anything.
Forgot to mention, I am off on my hols to San Diego in 65 days! Woot!
I was born in San Diego! But, alas, you can’t make a pilgrimage to the site of my first home there because it’s now a freeway. Nor can you visit the adorable little studio apartment I had in Coronado because, alas, it’s been torn down - in fact, it was in pretty sad shape when I lived there, but one can tolerate a lot at 21, right? It’s been nearly 40 years since I left there - I’d love to see it again. Could you maybe stop by DC enroute and hide me in one of your cases? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE???

It’s cold, just friggin’ cold. Enough for me to cuss the dog because he stands there while I have the door open deciding if he wants to go out or not. Then after he gets out there he takes his damn good old time coming back in.
We didn’t get much snow, maybe a few inches. Sah-son went out in the early hours and shoveled.
I think we are that family, the ones on the block that everybody thinks is weird because we only come out at night.

Just as I’m gettin’ into Blakely I get a call from the person I’m supposed to meet informin’ me she’s sick. :mad: Ok, sorry she’s sick but she coulda called earlier as obviously she knows my number. :mad: So here I sit with an hour to kill before I have to go anywhere else. Oh well, I can irk from anywhere so I guess I’ll read/answer/ignore emails and such for the next hour.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Mike W passed on to live under mattresses in the great landfill in the [del]sky[/del] ground this week.
He got moved to the corner of the porch after Halloween & I guess between being small & painted remained in amazing condition. Checked on him periodically & just last week he was still solid.
